OmniScan MX2 Training – Analysis – OmniPC Overview
The OmniPC software program compliments the OmniScan family of products by
allowing data files to be viewed and analyzed offline without the MX2 instrument.
The OmniPC software is the same software and user interface as the MX2
instrument except that it opens on a computer and can only be used in analysis
mode. Minor functions had to be added to account for modes of operation for the
touch screen display and function keys that are not available on the computer
version.
OmniScan MX2 functions related to acquisition or the instrumentation are either
disabled or available in a read only mode.
With the exception of the program details in this section, all OmniPC functions and
features can be found in the MX2 software users manual that was delivered with
the instrument.
