Australia to produce high-quality, primary Aluminium.

POSITION SYNOPSIS:
To oversee and manage the timely and accurate processing and execution of payroll and year-end payroll activities. Establish effective working relationships with other GBS

functions, HR functions and external statutory organisations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Serious contenders will have a Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in Finance, Human Resources Management or Business Administration with a minimum of 4

years’ experience in Payroll of which at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity;

Comprehensive understanding of SAP Payroll and SAP HR Module is essential;

Solid understanding of relevant Human Resources legislation essential;

In depth understanding of tax regulations is essential.

Experience in analysing and interpreting data is essential;

Experience within a Shared services environment is advantageous;

Advanced MS Excel skills is advantageous;

Thorough understanding of internal audit controls is advantageous.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Ensure compliance with all internal controls, agreements, systems, standards and procedures as well as legislative requirements and statutory reporting;

Recruitment, development and career management for all direct reports;

Actively contribute towards achieving set performance targets and KPIs, focusing on maintaining up-to-date, accurate and timely data in SAP and third-party

applications;

Develop supportive relationships with others in the team and demonstrate and promote operational discipline when executing day-to-day activities;

Ensure all queries and cases are managed on time, accurately and within defined Service Level Definitions;

Contribute to maintain a culture of innovation, learning and development and continuous improvement;

Contribute and execute the Global Business Services Strategy & Service Management Framework;

Oversee and support the creation and maintenance of operating procedure documentation;

Oversee and support system testing, and internal controls as required, and ensure adherence to implementing improved controls;

Provide assistance with internal and external audit requirements;

Participate in control self-assessment teams and other internal review processes;

Oversee the Payroll, Payroll-end reporting, month end reporting and year-end processes in accordance with Procedures on the days specified in the Payroll
