méthodologie pour tester des fractions autres que la fraction standard 10/14 mm prévu dans l’essai de référence.
Différents nombres de boulets et de charge des boulets sont donnés pour chaque classe granulaire.
Ceux-ci ont été choisis afin de produire des résultats à partir des fractions non standard proches de ceux qui seraient
obtenus avec la fraction standard 10/14 millimètre

Cependant, la relation n'est pas le même pour tous les granulats, avec les fractions alternatives, il n’y a pas lieu de
s’attendre à des résultats identiques à ceux de la méthode de référence 10/14 millimètre. »

In the last but one paragraph, delete "December 1999" and substitute "June 2004".

2 Normative references

Amend the standard paragraph to read as follows:

The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this European Standard. For dated
references, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document
(including any amendments) applies.

Make dated references of all EN standards undated, except for EN 10025:1993.

Delete all occurrences of “pr” preceding EN references throughout the document.

Annex A

After the second sentence “The narrow range classifications …”, add the following NOTE:
“NOTE The alternative narrow range classifications for the Los Angeles test annex provides a methodology for
testing size fractions other than the standard 10/14 mm size fraction in the reference test. Different numbers of
balls and ball loads are given for each range classification. These have been selected in order to produce results
from the non-standard fractions close to those from the standard 10/14 mm fraction. However, the relationship is
not the same for all aggregates and the alternative size fractions should not be expected to give results identical to
those from the 10/14 mm reference method".

Delete existing Table 1 and substitute the revised version shown below:
