Chandrasekaran was born in1890 in Bengaluru .A high school topper
because of intimately death of his father & the ensuring financial
needs of his family, chandrasekaran began his business needs carrier
as 18 year old office boy in a construction company he was an office
boy in a reputed construction company. But he was well active person
who was learning everything in the construction and infrastructure,
later he started the own company “JLC” Buildcon. He registered his
company name in Bengaluru and started the initial work from
Bengaluru. Later he expanded his company footprints to complete
South India. By 1950’s “JLC” Buildcon has created a good value in
South India.
After several years with the various changes in the management his
son took over the company by 1960’s from chandrasekaran. Later he
expanded the business operations throughout the country for N-5 &E-
W. In 1970’s company also entered to the real estate sector. They’ve
opened their IPO’s in 1990 in BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange).
By 1990’s company 1Billion asset value with 1crore shares with the
face value of Rs 50
Now in 20’s company has total asset value 15 Billion which handles
countries main infrastructure project with the present market value of
850 Rs/ share the company has created valued base in the country.
The company has total 20,000 employees.
Now at present scenario the company is dealing with competition
with JCC Company one of their project market place and their
company has designed to upgrade the supervisory skills of production
line supervisors requires different no of hours to complete the work.
A study of past participants indicates the mean length of the time
spent on the work in 500hrs & that this normally distributed random
variables has a standard deviation of 100hrs.
Discussion
1) Suppose JLC is considered that Flat price at market places are
not consistent & that even though the average price is 44 lakhs
actual prices are normally distributed with a standard 2.5
lakhs .Suppose JLC believes that at 45lakhs, the JLC is priced
out of the market price. What percentage of the customer for
JLC is more than 45lakhs & hence priced out of JNC market?
The average price for JNC flat is 34lakhs , suppose these prices
are also normally distributed with standard deviation of 1.5lakhs
.What Percentage of JNC dealer are pricing flat more than the
average price of JLC company?
2) What is the probability that a supervisor selected at random will
require more than 500hrs to complete the work?
3) What is the probability that a supervisor selected would selected
randomly would take between 500 to 700hrs to complete the
work.
4) What is the probability the supervisor would take in between
420&480 hrs?
5) Probability that supervisor would take fewer to complete the
work in less than 580hrs.
