Process logs activation for Lube bulk Process orders

At present YPBMS is in use for Lube Bulk process order creation along with QM inspection result
recording under batch manufacturing sheet(BMS)

Production gives intimation to QC for formulation updation thru planned order creation in YPBMS

1. After BOM updation by QC ,

Batch is started by Production dept by creating Process order. At time of process order creation thru
MD16, user should do the following

After selecting convert to process order, select PROCESS ORDER FUNCTIONS POST READ
MASTER DATA

To Capture CHANGED BILL OF MATERIAL OR PRODUCTION DATE


AT THIS STAGE QC MAY ISSUE BMS SHEET TO PRODUCTION by clicking Generate BMS tab

2. START OF PRODUCTION PROCESS for process logs recording

1. Once Process log tab is selected ,System will create a default entry of Blend start with
current date & system time - & its non-changeable
2. For new activity to record , press on RESET option to select the new activity like heating,
charging , mixing

Here New activity, charging has been selected & save option done to record the charging
start date & time .
3. Once charging activity is completed , then to update charging end date & time, charging line
item has to be selected by double clicking on the line , Noe End date & completion time has
to be recorded ( Future date & time can’t be entered)

Charging completion date & timing updated.

Minimum Three Process entries required for final blend compltion log recoding
Once Blend completion logs are recorded, no new entries can be made nor could existing
entries be changed.

 Blend sample generation will be allowed only after process log completion

4. Although Production has generated sample tag after Blend completion ie process logs
recording , NO CORKING ( PRODUCT CONFIRMATION) will be allowed till QC confirm the
sample as OK

Ie Production User would be able to do product confirmation ie CORK only when sample QC
OK flag is activated
3.Latest Changes in YPBM & Process log report- 28.02.2018

1. YPBMS control screen doesn’t get redirected to main screen every time. Refresh provision
provided

2. BOM Creation screen : CS01 incorporated in main screen. BOM Display field updated in
BOM Update tab

CS03 – Display BOM option provided for BOM confirmation

3. TO capture current BOM in Process order : follow process of Post read master data at time
of Order creation
4. Sample status : Action by QC requires to be updated as per REQUIRED field in BLEND QC
ACTION

Blend sample tab will have the Batch number & Process order numbers also
5. Process logs data : A report format is provided for Batch process logs

Header part of the report is for activity wise time breakups

Bottom part is summarised reporting for batch blending
