For simplicity, please include “Letter of Award” and “Notice to Proceed” under WBS “Contract
milestones”.

2. Mobilization and Demobilization Costs:

CLIN amount for CLIN 4 Mahadevsthan Health Post is incorrect.

Cost allocation for Mobilization and Demobilization aren’t correct for CLINs 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7. As per
“Section H.33 Mobilization and Demobilization Payments” of Contract, following cost should be
allocated for mobilization and demobilization:

Please correct the CLIN amount and mobilization/demobilization costs in the schedule as per below
table.

3. Calendars:

Three calendars “6x8Hr W/Nepal Holidays and Weather”, “6X8Hr Without Holidays Nepal” and
“6X8Hr W/Nepal Holidays” are applied for construction activities. The non-working days aren’t in
accordance with public holidays in Nepal.

 Provide a schedule of non-working days (public holidays and weather days) in the schedule
narrative.
 Ensure the non-working days in the schedules are in-line with public holidays in Nepal and
anticipated weather days as shown below.

All external/weather dependent activities should use weather calendar with anticipated non-working
days due to adverse weather. Refer to Attachment J.9 Project Control Systems Guidelines for
anticipated number of non-working days (weather days).

4. Dangling activities:

Several activities have missing links to their start or finish points which can change duration without a
detectable impact to the schedule.

Our goal is to create a dynamic schedule that correctly calculates activity dates when durations change
or work slips or completes out of sequence. When a start-to-start (SS) link connects two activities, a
finish-to-finish (FF) or finish-to-start (FS) link is needed to connect further downstream. Similarly,
when a finish-to-finish (FF) link connects two activities, a start-to-start (SS) or finish-to-start (FS) link
is needed to connect further upstream.

5. Actual dates in baseline schedule:

Because baseline schedule is a depiction of the contractor’s plan when bid, they should not contain
actual dates. The only possible exception to this rule is of Contract Award date. Even the baseline
schedule that is approved months after the start of the project should not have actual dates. Those actual
dates should be submitted as part of the first schedule update submittal.

Removal of formworks after concreting works for beams and slab should be started only after 21 to 28
days as per paragraph 4.3D under section 3 201 of technical specifications. The removal of formworks

9. Mandatory Lags:

Removal of formworks after concreting works for beams and slab should be started only after 21 to 28
days as per paragraph 4.3D under section 3 201 of technical specifications. The removal of formworks
is scheduled to start immediately after curing works not maintaining required gaps between concreting
works and formwork removal. Ensure there is correct relationship and lags between concrete and
formwork removal activities.
