COMPOSITION

We chose the topic "Customs, houses and traditions in the world" because we wanted

to investigate about our favorite countries that maybe one day we can visit and have

the necessary knowledge about them to know what places to visit.

The first country we chose was Brazil, which is located in South America, being the

third largest country in America and the fifth largest in the world. Brazilians are known

as caring and open-minded people. They are passionate about football where their

most important figure today is Neymar Jr., who plays for Paris Germain.

One of their most famous traditions is the carnivals, being that of Rio de Janeiro the

best known, its most representative musical genre is samba, they practice capoeira,

which is a cultural expression. In Brazil we can find all kinds of houses from favelas to

large buildings, depending on the social class of the people.

The places most visited by tourists are:

-Sao Paulo, where we can appreciate the Museum of Art of Sao Paulo.

-Río de Janeiro, where we can appreciate Christ the Redeemer.

-Playa Copacabana, where we can enjoy the beach, sun and sand.

On November 28, 2016, the Brazilian soccer team Chapecoense had a plane accident,

where only two people from the team survived and another 4 who were on the plane, a

historical fact that was widely publicized worldwide.

The second country we choose is Japan, which is located in Asia, is a world leader in

high technology and excels in automobile production. The Japanese are very respectful

and disciplined, because of them it is the third best country economically, they are also

famous for their great list of manga and anime they create, the best known is the
designer Akira Toriyama. The traditional clothing worn by women is called Kimono

which are worn on special occasions.

The places most visited by tourists are:

-Tokyo, where we can visit the Imperial Palace and the Ginza District.

-Nara, visited by the large number of ancient temples and ancient ruins.

-Osaka, where we can see the historic Osaka Castle and Umeda Skyscrapers.

They have the fastest and most modern trains in the world. Traditional houses are

made of woven bamboo, covered with soil on both sides.

One of the most important events in Japan was the earthquake and tsunami that

occurred on March 11, 2011, which left at least 22,000 people dead.
