BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Kiran Kumar Shetty was born on May 10th 1979 and comes from the coastal city of
Mangalore, India. He received his Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication
Engineering from the much respected Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of
Technology (NMAMIT) affiliated with Mangalore University in the year 2000. He
enrolled for the Master’s program in Electrical Engineering at the Florida State
University in Fall 2001. As a graduate student he has worked as a Teaching Assistant for
the Dept. of Electrical Engineering. Currently, he is working as an RF engineer at the
National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL), Tallahassee, Florida.
