Research Design

In this research, quantitative correlational design methods will measure the relationship

between the usage of google products and the feeling of privacy-respected of their users.

A participant questionnaire will collect demographic data and information on the

university education that contributed to their technology privacy practices. In this study, levels

of university education will be measured according to university diploma, baccalaureate,

master’s degree, and doctorate. The correlation analysis attempts to measure the association

between the dependent variable of privacy practices on variety products of google. Independent

variables in the correlation analysis represent the number of hours of executive coaching, the

university degree obtained, the number of years of practice, and location of practice as to urban

or rural.

Sampling Technique

In this research, we used probability sampling to profile our respondents.

Respondents

The 200 respondents ranges from the age of young adults to adults with at least an

undergraduate degree.

Research Instrument

The study used questionnaires as its research instrument because it gathers data faster

than any method & it is most convenient among all other instruments. The questionnaire was

composed of two major parts. The first part dealt with the personal
profile of the respondents in terms of academic status, age, email and their occupation. While the

second part dealt with the relationship between Google products and their usage of it.

Research Environment

The locale of this study is in google forms. Google Forms is a survey administration

software that is included in the Google Docs Editors software suite along with Google Docs,

Google Sheets, and Google Slides. It allows collecting information from users through surveys.

The collected information can be automatically entered into a spreadsheet.

Data Collection Procedure

The data relevant to the study was through primary source using survey questionnaire

that was distributed directly to the respondents and aids with personal interviews for some issues

not clear. Secondary data was taken from the books and internet.

Data Analysis Procedure

Two hundred 200 responses are needed to conduct these research. There were 34 males

and 32 females. Majority of 67 of them were the respondents of the study. In getting the sample

size, the researcher used the Sloven’s formula as shown below.

Sloven’s formula

27

n=N/ (1+ N(0.10) 2 )

Where:
N = total population e = margin of error n=?

N = 200 students e = 0.10%

n= 200/ 1+200 (0.10) 2

= 200/ 1+ 200 (0.01)

= 200/3

= 66.66 or 67

n=67 sample size
