Indian Trail PTO General Meeting - 1/14/21

Join us for our first General PTO meeting of 2021 on Thursday, January 14th at 7:30 PM via Zoom (details ​here​).

Yearbook Photo Request - School Spirit!

Send us a photo of your child(ren) wearing their Indian Trail spirit wear or orange and blue! Please include your
student’s name and classroom and send your photo to ​indiantrailyearbooks@gmail.com​.​ Please help to us create a
yearbook in this difficult school year by continuing to submit photos of your children engaging with learning. The photos
don’t have to be related to our weekly prompt.

iRead 2021 is Underway!

iRead 2021, hosted by the 112 Education Foundation, is fully virtual; visit ​https://112foundation.org/iread/​ ​for
instructions and online forms to submit your minutes. Please note that there is a separate tracking form for hybrid and
remote students, even though we are all currently learning remotely.​ ​While fundraising is not a requirement of the
contest, all funds raised for the 112 Education Foundation through this event will support amazing author visits to school
libraries. ​Will Indian Trail earn the coveted all school iRead trophy?

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service: January 18, 2021

Due to COVID-19, the 12th Annual Day of Service city event will take place virtually for the safety of participants. ​A Zoom
event will begin at 10:00 AM on January 18, 2021, and will feature keynote speakers, facilitated Q&A, remote service
projects, donation collection, related virtual presentations, and more. Musicians from Highland Park High School will
also provide musical tributes to Dr. King. ​A list of service providers and at-home service projects are available at
cityhpil.com/mlk​,​ including a new essay contest, interactive trivia quiz and additional presentations to educate and
