The Vice-Chancellor of The University of Bamenda announces that twenty-eight (28)

Teaching Positions have been opened at the University within the framework of
Numerical Replacement in State Universities in 2020. This is different from the Special
Recruitment exercise that shall be launched at a later date. The positions are as follows:

Requirements

The applicants must be holders of, a PhD/Doctorat degree or a Master degree.

Applicants who are holders of the Master degree must include proof of registration for
a PhD degree. A11 applications should be addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, The
University of Bamenda, P.O. 39, Bambili and delivered at the Mail Service of the
University, Central Administration Building Room 203. Applications shall be received
latest February 04, 2020.

The application file shall include the following documents:

1. A stamped application not older than three (3) months, addressed to the Vice-
Chancellor of The University of Bamenda with the specific position stated.

2. A certified photocopy of birth certificate signed within the last three months;
3. A detailed and signed Curriculum vitae;
4. Certified photocopies of all certificates from the Baccalaureate or GCE
Advanced Level;
5" A copy of the PhD/Doctorat thesis or Master degree dissertation for those who
do not have the terminal degree;

6. Copies of articles or off-prints of any publications;

7. A medical certificate issued within the last three (3) months by a medical doctor
of the public health sector;

8. Four (4) passport size photos (colour);

9. A photocopy of a valid National ID card or receipt;
10" Proof of PhD registration for applicants with Master degree;
11. A certificate of non-conviction issued within the last three (3) months;

12. A certificate of nationality andf or, for applicants living abroad, photocopies of
passport and residence permit certified by Cameroonian Consular services;

13. Proof of previous work experience (Instructors, Graduate Teaching Assistants,

Administrative personnel etc);
14. A copy of the National Disability Card (for disabled persons);
15. A pledge of honour on:

(i) the authenticity of the documents provided;

(ii) the effective availability of the candidate and, for applicants living
abroad;
(iii) the non-existence of any situation that may give rise to a double salary.

Interviews

Applicants with complete application files and suitable requirements for the
position solicited shall be invited for interviews through various media at the
various Establishments in due course.
