I. Standard of learning
Content standard:
The learner demonstrates understanding of brainstorming for research topics. ( includes;
nature of inquiry.
Performance standards:
The learner is able to apply their understanding in choosing appropriate research topic.
Learning competencies:
Prepares a plan and focus on issues and ideas in their respective field.
Value focus:
The students will be able to appreciate the ideas of their classmates in choosing
appropriate research topic.
The students will be able to build a sense of cooperation to one another.

III. Procedure
Activity 1
Good day Class!, Our first activity is you are going to write a checklist question
(minimum of five) in a piece of paper that may be asked by the following people to their
respective clients.
Refer to worksheet w 1-2 Page 1,Activity 1.

Ok Class, Since you already have a prior knowledge in questioning, I know this would be easy
for you.
Class, at the end of this lesson, you will be able to;
a. Formulate questions on current issues relevant to your respective fields
b. Share insights and build cooperation to one another
c. Identify importance of inquiry in research

Activity 2
Based from the previous activity given, you will present your work to the class. You are
free to share your insights and ideas in every given question/thought.
Refer to worksheet W 1-2 Page 1,Activity 2.

Activity 3
Ok class, at this time, we will have a discussion about what is research, nature of inquiry,
and Brainstorming for research topic. Refer to your PPT W 1-2 in your google classroom.

Activity 4
Since we, already discussed nature of inquiry and what research is, we will have a brainstorming
of your research topic, that you will take focus for this course.
The Activity is title “Think of Me”, this will help you in making your focus topic, based on
relevant issues we have today.

Activity 5
Since you already formulated possible questions of the current issues we have today, you are
going to answer questions in Worksheet W 1-2 , P 3, Activity 4.
