III. Procedure:

A. Preparatory Activities
1. Drill

Show picture of pencil, pencil case, eggplant, notebooks.

What length of measurement we are going to use to get the length of these objects?

2. Review
What was our lesson yesterday?
When do we use meter and centimeter?
B. Developmental Activities
1. Presentation
A. Give to the pupils a set of objects measurable in centimeter and meter units. Let them write the result of the activity in the
table. Guide the pupils how to measure using ruler and meter stick.

And let the pupils compare the objects using relation symbol >,<, OR =.

Example: pencil is 10 cm
Crayon is 5 cm
10 > 5 cm

B. Remember that use cm in measuring short objects and we can use ruler and m for long objects or big space and we can use
meter stick

2. Practice Activities :
Paghambingin ang dalawang units.

Halimbawa: 25 cm at 13 cm

Ang 25 cm ay mas mahaba kaysa 13 cm.
Ang 13 cm ay mas maikli kaysa 25 cm.
