to:
 revise occupation vocabulary
 revise clothes vocabulary
 talk about people‘ jobs;
 talk about people‘ clothing
Teaching methods: elicitation through questions, explanation, heuristic
conversation, explication, didactic game.

Materials and means: board, computer, projector, PPP of clothes and jobs,
worksheet with wordsquare, handout with clothes and labels, worksheet with job
description, handout with jobs and pictures.

Description of the class:


This class consists of 10 special educational needs pupils six of them are autists,
one student has Down Syndrome and three students have moderate learning
disabilities. They can be characterised as it follows: they all present developmental
disabilities, which are moderate and mild, learning disabilities, attention deficit
disorder.

Predicted problems and possible solutions:


Due to the fact that most of these students suffer from emotional disorders, it may
be possible that they feel overwhelmed by the situation. In this case I will
constantly offer support and encouragemnt, and if necessary change the plans, and
skip to another activity,which will be suitable at that time.
Some children may have difficulty in writing certain words - the teacher offers
them help.
The students may have problems with pronounciation – the teacher has the
students repeat the words/phrases.
The students may not fully understand the instructions – the teacher checks the
understanding of the instructions by asking a pupil to say what the steps of the
activity are. Where necessary, she explains the instructions again or makes a
demonstration.

PROCEDURE:

Activity 1- to create a relaxed atmosphere


Purpose: tune students in

Procedure: Teacher greets the students and checks the frequency.

Activity 2: Checking of previous knowledge


Purpose: check the student's homework
Time: 5 min
Interactive pattern: S-T
Procedure: Students read the homework. Teacher corrects the mistakes.

Activity 3- icebraking
Purpose: to create interest in the topic
Technique: rebus
Time: 5 min.
Interactive pattern: T-S
Procedure: Teacher shows a rebus with colours, in turns, students are invited to
complete it. At the end students will elicite the word REVISION.
Activity 4 – presentation of the title and the objectives of the lesson
Purpose: to learn the content of the lesson
Technique: conversation
Time: 2 min
Procedure: Teacher writes the title of the lesson: Revision and she presents the
objectives of the lessons.

Activity 5- vocabulary practice


Purpose: to revise the items of clothing
Technique: PPP presentation
Time: 5 min.

Procedure:Teacher presents the Power Point Presentation of clothes. Students
repeat the words in group and individually.

Activity 6- vocabulary practice


Purpose: to provide students with vocabulary practice

Materials: worksheet with a wordsquare
Procedure: Students, in pairs, have to find clothes in a wordsquare.

Activity 7- vocabulary practice

Procedure: Students, in turns, have to label clothes.
