SECPRO 2011 - Security Professionals
Every year, SECPRO (Security Professionals’ Forum) is built around different themes which highlight a significant
example of security from history and the future trends. As we celebrate the 3rd anniversary of SECPRO 2011, we honor
the giants of safety and security, spotlight the history and legacy of the SECPRO algorithm and to focus on the future
threats in the corporate industry.
Everyday citizens learn how national security, international politics and the economy are inextricably linked to
business continuity and corporate security. Corporate leaders were reminded that the security of business,
intellectual and human assets has a tremendous impact on an organization's long-term viability.
If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know
yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the
enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
-- Sun Tzu, in The Art of War, Chapter 3, Verse 18
