OPERATIONAL PLAN
Production

Customer’s safety is very important when it comes to businesses. In bakeries and pastry making, the raw

materials used to make the product is being monitored and being considered by the customers to ensure their

safety if they’ll consume our products. As for the manufacturing aspect, it takes approximately three to four

hours to complete a batch of glutinous donuts which is around ten to twelve donuts. The leche flan will be pre-

made in our facilities and ready to merge with the donuts as the final product: Doughnut Le-Flan. Challenges

such as rush orders, shortage of raw materials, understaffed and faulty machinery are bound to arise during the

production of the business.

To overcome such travails, here are the solutions: To prevent shortage of raw materials, check inventory daily

and update whenever necessary. As for faulty machinery, we should ensure maintenance for all assets at all

times. Utilizing individual manpower to its maximum potential will also aid to complete rush orders more

efficiently and effectively.

Facilities

The store is located in the vicinity of Kapitan Pepe and is 50 feet long and 20 feet wide. The store has two areas,

the service area and donut production area. The service area is 23 feet long and 20 feet wide. The donut

production area is 27 feet long and 20 feet wide. The store is made of concrete walls and the floor has porcelain

tiles. The donut production area has a proper ventilation to keep away from having fire also there is a fire

extinguisher found right after the steamer in case of fire. The service area has a ceiling fan to cool the area. We

found this place to be suitable since we require to be closer to our initial target market then slowly expanding

branches throughout Cabanatuan City.
