02/03/11 Meeting Notes and Action Items

Opening Vince Schott, president, called the meeting to order. Dot Autrey led
in a group prayer based on Romans 12:6-8. Father Hurley asked
that we remember Terry Wray, Rita, and their family in our prayers.

Joe Donovan informed us that the Learning Center has 280 on their
waiting list and questioned as to how big it needs to be. There was
also a question as how the Learning Center will be affected if we
have to increase the sanctuary to accommodate 1,000 people. Bob
Soukup suggested that the Learning Center staff and board prepare a
five (5) year plan to encompass their vision. Vince gave the board
members and staff some homework that is listed under “action
item”. Vince thanked them for their participation in the meeting and
advised they could leave at this time.
Black Book Update Ted Gray has ordered 400 Black Books for Father Hurley to make
available to parishioners during Lent.
Mission Statement Lori Brechtel created 11x17 posters that included the logo, mission,
and Logo Sign and vision statements. They have been covered with plexi-glass and
are ready to be hung on each door in the family life center, learning
center as well as the entryways of the Church. Father Hurley stated
that Frank Buras has offered to donate the logo sign that will be
placed on the front of church near Hwy 25.

Lori also has a suggested logo launch date of Wednesday, June 29

timeline of events to be carried out before the suggested date.
 Discipleship Rebecca Harris has contacted most of the parish members that were Rebecca will set up
