3. Using the flat blade screwdriver, lift up on the push pin
and remove it from the cover.
4. Once the push fasteners are removed, remove the plastic
radiator support panel cover.
5. Remove the rubber weatherstrip from across the top of
the painted bumper cover by stretching the weatherstrip
over the clips, leaving the clips in the bumper cover as
you could break them if you try to pry them out of their
mounting holes.

11. Place the grille onto a clean work bench and remove the
factory emblem from the factory grille. Use a plastic
squeegee of other non-metallic tool to seperate the
emblem from the double faced tape securing it to the
grille. Clean off any excess double faced tape from the
back of the emblem.

15. Cut out the supplied template and tape it into place on
the driver side of the front bumper cover in the factory
grille opening (as shown). Use an awl or similar pointed
tool to mark the hole locations onto the driver side
bumper cover. Untape the template, flip it over and mark
the holes on the passenger side bumper cover.

12. Using the supplied double faced tape, cut it into 1/8”
wide strips and apply the tape to the outside edge of
the emblem (as shown).

16. Remove the template and drill through the marks made
in the bumper cover with a .125” (1/8”) drill bit. Once
the holes are drilled, use the drill bit to connect the
holes, making a mounting slot for slight right to left
adjustments during the grille installation.

The exposed edges of the stainless steel
grille and mesh can be extremely sharp.
Please handle with care.

13. Peel off the tape backing, align the emblem onto the
emblem mounting plate and press firmly to set the tape.
14. Install the emblem assembly onto the mesh grille using
the supplied black plastic washers, s.s. lock washers
and the s.s. hex nuts (not shown).

17. Apply masking tape around the lower opening. Tape sev-
eral additional layers at the center and lower corners of
the lower grille opening for added paint protection.
18. Measure and mark the exact center of the lower grille
opening.

19. Align the lower grille into the factory lower opening,
making sure that the mesh and frame are tight against
the factory grille at the bottom.
20. Mark the lower mounting pin locations onto the mask-
ing tape and remove the frame and mesh section.

24. Install the upper grille into place, making sure the lower
mounting pins are pressed into the slots drilled in the
Step 16.

22. While keeping the mesh grille tight against the factory
grille, use a 3/32” drill bit to drill through the centers of
the mounting tabs (as shown).

25. Reinstall the factory push pins to secure the outer upper 27. Install the supplied #8 x 1/2” black truss head screws to
corners of the grille. lock the top of the grille onto the bumper cover.
26. Use a .125” (1/8”) drill bit to drill through the existing
hole in the top mounting plate and into the top edge of
the bumper cover.

28. Reinstall the factory rubber weatherstripping back onto
the top of the E&G grille and painted bumper cover.
29. Reinstall the factory radiator support panel cover by rein-
stalling the factory push pins removed in Step 2.
30. Remove the masking tape around the upper and lower
grilles. Carefully peel back the protective tape covering
the frames on the upper and lower grilles and use a soft,
clean cloth and solvent to remove any glue residue left by
the tape. Use alcohol or glass cleaner to remove any sol-
vent residue from the frames.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:
E&G Classics, Inc. warrants its chrome parts and products to be free from defects in mate-
rial, workmanship or finish for Twenty-Four (24) months from the date of shipment by E&G.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, at E&G Classics option, of the defective
part or product. To obtain performance under this warranty you must:

1.) Present your E&G unit to an authorized distributor in your area with proof of purchase.
24 2.) If no distributor is available, contact E&G Classics (address below) for authorization to
return unit.
3.) Returns - All unauthorized returns will be refused. Merchandise approved by E&G for
return must have been purchased within the Twenty-Four (24) months. All returns require
an authorization number obtained from E&G and the actual return must be accompanied
by the written authorization form filled out completely. All merchandise most be inspect-
ed upon receipt and shortages reported within 48 hours. All merchandise must be in a
resalable condition. Merchandise must be packed carefully in the original packing. If orig-
inal packing is no longer usable, repack item(s) comparable to original manner. All returns
are subject to a 25% handling charge. Special order items are not returnable. Defective
merchandise must have an explanation of the problem. No credit will be issued unless
invoice number and date of purchase has been supplied. Manufacturer shall be sole judge
of defects in a product.
4.) UPS accounts - All returns must be prepaid. Do not send return shipments freight collect.
Once E&G has made its decision and it is a claim against our warranty policy, E&G will
credit incoming freight on damaged parts.
5.) No discontinued part or parts changed due to body style are returnable.

31. Finished installation. You are responsible for inspecting all packages containing E&G Classics' parts and product
immediately upon their receipt and must file a claim with the carrier for any damage disclo-
sure by such inspection and notify E&G classics in writing at the above address of any such
damage. This warranty does not extend to any of our products which have been subject to
misuse, neglect, accident or have been altered or repaired in any way. This warranty does not
cover any accidental or consequential damages for any breach of this warranty agreement.
E&G Classics shall have no responsibility for any loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss
or consequential damage, nor shall E&G be liable for any injury or damage to persons or prop-
erty by reason of any defect in material, workmanship or finish of its parts or products. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary
from state to state.
