Greetings!
We are cordially inviting you to the first ever Ateneo National Environmental Conference
entitled ANECON 2010: Building a League of Environmental Youth Leaders, Engaging Upon
the Threats of Climate Change to be held at the Ateneo de Manila University Loyola
Schools, Quezon City from December 10 to 12, 2010.
2009 was a year when we witnessed the radical effects and impacts of climate change on
our environment. The Philippines was no exception to this phenomenon. The Ateneo de
Manila University, together with all its units and the student body, acknowledges the
challenge to bring about positive changes in protecting and conserving our environment and
natural resources.
Your presence in this conference will greatly contribute to our thrust to promote awareness
of the various consequences posed by climate change and to integrate theoretical
foundations and practical solutions into the role of the Filipino youth in addressing issues
regarding climate change.
`
The said amount would be collected upon arrival in the Ateneo de Manila University. This
would cover meals and accommodations in Ateneo as well as a conference kit which
includes resources the participants need in the conference. Transportation costs related to
the participation in the conference will be shouldered by the participants.
Please confirm receipt of this letter by replying to the sender of the e-mail. Fill up the
