Support Update
Encouragement. This has been the word that the Lord has continued
to lay on my heart as I get closer to being able to leave. Support raising
is more than “money raising”. It is just what the term says--raising
support. Support comes in many forms. Words like, “howʼs your
preparation going?”, “How can I be praying for you?” or even “Iʼd like to
be a part of your partnership team” are more of an encouragement than
you may realize. This month has been one of discouragement and
encouragement. As I have been discouraged, I have asked the Lord for
encouragement. He has provided. Through you. I cannot tell you how
encouraged I have been in the past few weeks through my time and
interactions with people. So thank you!

And with that, let me ask you, “How can I be praying for you?” If we are
partners, then we pray for each other. So please e-mail me at
kdefuniak@gmail.com and let me know how I can encourage and pray
for you.

Scholarship Students
Imagine having the opportunity for an education, only up to the sixth grade. This is the reality for
the children of Honduras. Education is free and compulsory, but only up to the sixth grade.
With an average annual income of $3,000, most of Honduras’ children are unable to further their
education beyond that. Thanks to the generous donations received by our supporters, we are
able to sponsor five children to attend high school. This is an incredible blessing for these kids.
Not only does it provide an education, it is a chance to get a higher-paying job, which will
hopefully break the cycle of poverty that exists in their families. Please pray for our scholarship
students.
