Regulations*

rules

the
tournament

These
rules
are
accurate
as

Section
1:
General
Rules
(all
sports)
A)
Personal
and
Team
Conduct
1. A
team
must
have
a
minimum
of
8
players
and
a
maximum
of
11
on
the
field
during
play.
If
at
any
time
a
team
has
less
than
8
players
for
a
game,
the
game
is
a
default.
2. It
shall
be
the
responsibility
of
the
away
team
to
make
alternate
sweater
arrangements
when
there
is
a
conflict
between
two
team
colours.
3. Each
player
of
a
team
must
wear
matching
colours
to
be
eligible
to
play.
B) Equipment
C) Game lengths
1. Round-‐robin
games
will
consist
of
8
overs.
Playoff
games
will
consist
of
10
overs.
2. A
cap
of
5
minutes/over
will
be
set
for
the
match;
therefore
a
full
match
can
last
at
most
2
hours.
3. Playoff
game
time
may
be
extended.
In
the
event
of
a
tie
during
playoffs,
the
game
will
lead
to
2
Super
Overs
in
which
each
team
will
face
2
overs.
Team
with
the
most
runs
in
these
overs
will
proceed
to
the
next
level.
D) Gameplay
1. Games
will
adhere
to
basic
international
cricket
and
game
play
rules
2. Each
bowler
can
bowl
a
maximum
of
2
overs
in
a
round
robin
game,
and
4
overs
in
the
playoff
games.
3. There
will
be
no
Leg
Before
Wicket
(LBW)
out
4. Bowlers
can
appeal
for
edge
caught
out
to
the
umpire
5. Outs
and
runs
will
be
based
on
Umpire
decision.
6. Teams
must
respect
the
Umpire
decision
and
not
argue
with
them.
Any
team
found
to
be
arguing
with
the
umpire
will
not
get
their
spirit
deposit
back
(at
PSG
Committee’s
discretion)
7. At
the
end
of
an
over,
the
team
captain
has
a
chance
to
change
the
field
setting.
8. There
will
be
no
need
for
substitutions,
however,
a
previously
injured
player
may
return
to
the
field
at
the
end
of
an
over.
9. No
time-‐outs
will
be
permitted.
A
short
break
will
be
give
between
the
transition
of
innings.
