1. Following steps are to be used for generating load data sheet from Caesar
Stress analysis output:
1.1 Restraint Summary in 80 columns [132 columns unchecked] with all the relevant
load cases will be copied from the stress analysis output:

1.3 Copied data is to be pasted in “ResSum” and “ HydroLoad”. Steam hammer data if
applicable will be copied similarly and pasted to “ SteamHammer” worksheet of the
excell file “Arrange_Loaddata.xls”.

1.4 Once data pasted in excel sheet, Press “CTRL+A”. Marco will start running and
ask for selection of various load cases as below:

1.5 Load case numbers are to be selected in the above form, keeping in mind which
load is to be transferred to the datasheet. e.g. for pure earthquake load; load case
32 is to be selected, whereas, L32=L14-L6 and L14= W+D2+T2+P2+H+U1 & L6=
W+D2+T2+P2+H and so on….
Do not select any margin/safety factor (i.e. 0%) as margin will be considered by
the Civil Designer. (This is only for load plan used inhouse. For Load plan to be sent
to external agency suitable margin will be added).
2. Please check/prepare the load data as per the note given at the end of the load data
sheet. Also do not delete these notes. Notes are as below:
2.1 All Forces are in kN until and unless specified.
2.3 Q= Hydro Test load (Water weight only). It has been derived by substracting Caesar sus-
tained load case values from Caesar hydrotest load case values.

2.5 X, Y and Z are the direction of forces and is the global coordinate system of the project.
2.6 Sustained load consists of material, inline component and insulation weights. However, for
water filled lines, it also contains water weight.
2.7 Opearting loads are not pure thermal loads and they also include sustained loads.
2.8 Occasional forces (except safety valve reaction) e.g., Wind, Seismic and steam hammer
forces to be applied with reversal of Direction.
2.9 All occasional loads are pure loads and does not include operating loads.
2.10 No margins are added to the piping loads. Loads are actual loads from Caesar (Stress
analysis). Civil designer to add suitable margins for his design.
2.13 Refer Load plans for the location of the load points.
