Big Break is a one-week mission experience that gathers students from

colleges and universities from all over the country in Panama City Beach,
Florida. Students spend the week growing in their walk with God, exploring
biblical truths, and learning how to talk to their friends about their faith. They get
to practice sharing their faith with the thousands of spring breakers who come to
Panama City Beach.

Here is an incredible story about how God used a student to change a life:

Shaun, a sophomore from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington,

approached Guy (a photographer with Campus Crusade) and a few Campus
Crusade students and asked him to take a picture with his friends. Guy obliged
and then mentioned why they were there, directing Shaun to a student named
Rob. Guy watched Rob and Shaun talk, smelling the subtle aroma of cheap beer
on Shaun’s breath as he loosely gripped his can of Natural Light. Hailing from
Newcastle, England, Shaun’s smooth English accent chimed in with questions
and comments.

As the two began going through a spiritual-interest survey and then the Knowing God Personally
booklet, an amazing thing happened. Something seemed to lift from Shaun’s eyes. He began to look around
with a different sense of his surroundings. He paused, placed his beer down in the sand and then turned to Rob,
offering a new level of attention to the booklet. Rob finished going through the four spiritual principles in the
booklet, and read the prayer of salvation to Shaun. After asking him if it reflected the desires of his heart, Shaun
said “yes.” Right there on the beach, in the middle of the frenzied spring break environment, Shaun prayed and
received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

On another note, there has been a little bit of confusion among some of our ministry partners, so we just
wanted to clear some things up. We are still living in Springfield, OR and developing our team of ministry
partners. Once 100% of our support is committed, we will be moving to Reno, NV. We are waiting on the
Lord’s perfect timing!
