UNITS
WARP PRISM
For thousands of years the
Protoss have studied the nature
of time and space, gaining
insight into the universe’s
greatest mysteries. Using
psionic manufacturing
processes, they created a
robotic mind whose
programming is built into the
molecules of an advanced crystal lattice. The resulting
device is able to manipulate matter and energy with
incredible precision. Warp Prisms are used primarily to
transport forces on the battlefield, but they can also be
deployed into Phasing Mode so as to power nearby
structures if necessary. When Warp Prisms are in this
mode, they can temporarily replace destroyed Pylons or
enable rapid expansion.

Dosent it seem like a warp prism would be able to hold alot more units since it just converts them into energy.
You know, that's a very fancy discription of all the intricate little things building up this highly-advanced peice of machinery avaliable only
Oh, and besides warping Dt's on your enemy's mineral line, you can also warp HT and Psi Storm the crap out of their workers
Yeah, I have noticed a whole bunch of errors, check out the infestor!
LOL. read this 'warp prism; increases movement speed of observers. wow. blizzard really needs to work more on there unit bios. and this
I think that maps like lost temple or any map with a ledge can be abused with warp prisms almost as much as medivacs, warp in units
then leave or on maps with 4 spawning locations mess with your opponents mind as you warp in units or just transport them, I use them
You can warp in cannons with these as well in the back of an opponent's base.
Have you seen how fast an upgraded Warp Prism is? As fast as a Mutalisk. Very fast.
Actually I think that this is one of the most effective units in the game! If you can get 2 of these into phasing mode near an enemies
main base minerals u can get some stalkers and shoot the gatherers down while a noob opponent's army is gathering at the middle of the
map!
Am I right?
@Hakutsuru: you r, but a lot of people overlook there purpose while playing as protoss.
@pacifist: lol its like the Sentry. I don't see anyone use them often.
@bubble: Sentries are actually REALLY important...Guardian Shield for reduced enemy range damage and Force Field for
blocking off your ramp, or stopping ground units from reaching Stalkers and Colossi.
@Hakutsuru: Least used when it should be used more often, too many deathballs for people to consider it's potential.
@Protocol: That would be a good army. If you have the time to build that army, though, then your opponent obviously isn't
doing his job right. Vikings would negate Void Rays, Carriers and Colossi, bio ball gets rid of Stalkers/Sentries/Immortals.
Cloaking ability?
@Espearican: these units don't cloak on their own, but with the cloak aura of a mothership...
That may be do to the fact that you can now gate infantry to any psi power zone now, such as those produced by these. Just have four
or more gates in warp mode and selected at once to see the advantage of that.
A good use for these as a shuttle would be for a probe and some immortals for armor support. Unload all, then have the probe warp in a
pylon out of the way (so you have a back up back door) while you warp in Dark Templar and,or other infantry under the prism
These BADLY need a + 10 or 20 shield buff. They're so much weaker than shuttles. I'm scared to put anything in them do to their sheer
fragility.
Protoss Rant #6: Warp Prism: While I still stand by what I said two posts ago, I have another thing to add; why do zealots take up 2
cargo slots? Granted, They're tall, but in order to adapt to the atmosphere of SCII, Zealots should only take up one space in a transport.
@Starviper: zealots are the strongest tier 1 unit-also they take up 2 supply
@Zeratul: Eh, not the strongest but the most tanky. Marines are excelent and well rounded, good for many situations, and
always a good idea to mix a few in the army. Zerglings are so dirt cheep it's incredibly easy to mass them. When you can
get a good amount and with good positioning and timing, zerglings can shred through many ground armies. Zelots are the
most tanky. Now, even though they have a good amount of health, they can be easily kited. The pathing on charge is weird,
you'll often see zelots running circles around the opponents army. In all, zelots need some sort of pathing fix to charge,
@Starviper: protoss would be too good if they lowered the cost or reduced supply from 2 to 1 for zealots.
@StopMoving: 4 zerglings are the same price of 1 zealot and if you get can surround with zerglings you can kill the zealot
with 4 zerglings
HECK YEAH!!!
@DELTAFORCE:
WEAKEST TRANSPORT
@Starviper: Strongest. if your Warp Prism dies, then no one dies with it.
@Ironspider: You mean if you don't put anyone in it and just use it to warp in. Not always the best idea.
lmao BF injections ;)
