O Allah, make me thoroughly patient and
grateful to You and make me look small
in my own eyes and great in the sight of
others.
Allahum.maj ’alni sabooran,
waj ’alni shakooran,
waj ’alni fi’ainee sagheeran
wa fi ’ayoonin-naasi kabeera.
O Allah we place You in our front O Allah! No one can deny that which You
(when fighting the unbelievers) and bestow and no one can bestow that which
seek Your protection against their You deny and the wealth of the wealthy
cannot help them from You.

Allahum.ma inna naj ’aluka
fi nuhoori.him, wa na ’oozubi.ka
min shuroori.him.
O Allah I seek Your protection from my
being deprived of Your grace and peace,
befalling of sudden calamity and all
circumstances which are likely to move
Your wrath.
Allahum.ma inni a’aoozubika min zawali
ne ’matika, wa tahaw.wulli aa’fi.yatika,
wa fuja.ati neqmatika, wa jame’e sakhatik.
To be read 3 times after Fajar & Maghrib.
We are wholly pleased to believe in Allah
as our Lord, Islam as our religion and
Muhammad (sal.lal.lahu alaihi wasal.lam)
as our Prophet.
Radina bil.lahi rab.ban, wabil-islaami
deenan, wabi Muhammadin sal.lal.laahu
alaihi wasal.lam nabeeyyan.
O The Ever Living, The Eternal, we
ferverently invoke Your mercy so that You
may set aright all my affairs and may not
leave me to myself for the twinkling of an
eye.
Ya hayyu ya qayyum
bi.rahmati.ka astagheeth
as.lihli sha-ni kul.lahu
wala takil.ni ila nafsi tarfata ’ain.
Praise and thanks be to Allah who has
granted me safety from the misfortune you
are in and (thanks to Him for) He has
conferred on me special favours above a
great part of His creation.
It is mentioned in the Hadeeth that anyone
who recites this dua when seeing another in
adversity, Allah will safeguard him from that

Allahum.ma la maani’a li.maa a’atay.ta,
wala m’utiya limaa mana’ata,
wala yanfa’u zal jaddi minkal jadd.
Rabbanaghfirli wali walidayya
wa lil mu’mineena yauma
yaqoomul hisaab.
Our Lord! Forgive me and my
parents and believers on the day
when the account is cast.
Su:14, Ay:41
O my Lord! make me one who establishes
regular Prayer, and also (raise such)
among my offspring. O our Lord! and
accept Thou my prayer.
Su: 14, Ay: 40
Rab.bij’alni muqeemas-salaati
wa.min zurriyati
Rab.bana wa taqab-bal d’ua.
Du’a to be read in between two sajda.
O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon
me, guide me, enrich me, give me health,
grant me sustenance and raise my rank.
Allahum.maghfir.li, warham.ni,
wahdi.ni, waj-burni, wa a’fi.ni,
warzuq.ni, warf ’a.ni.
