and industry, the government and the economy.

The motive behind this elaborate event is comprehensive


enough. The students are encouraged to build an
orientation towards the working conditions in the “Real
World” through an upfront exposure to the acquired
expertise of successful managers of today. These highly
proficient mangers become role models for the students
who then try to picture themselves in the same shoes a
few years down the line.

Marketing is the key…

The theme is centered on exploring and exploiting the


forces acting upon an existing as well as a potential
Marketing Dynamics. Marketing is often juxtaposed with
the process of promoting products and/or services to
customers via advertising and other promotional channels
to enhance sales. This is often complimented and
facilitates through market research techniques along with
others. However, it is only the experienced Stalwarts of
the Industry who can explain the strategies that underlie
sales techniques, business communications as well as
business developments.

The marketing forces acting upon a consumer bear an


intangible existence. Consequently, the physical senses
are unable to perceive them. The objective of this event is
to interpret the concepts of GenNext Marketing which are
no more associated with fancy logos and catchy taglines.
Rather, they have moved a step forward by reaching out
to the consumer to develop a personal touch even before
establishing the transactional buyer-seller relationship.
Through the forum of this event students will be enabled
to understand the integrated processes through which
companies build strong customer relationships and create
value for their customers and hence for themselves.

Capital Market Landscape

Dalal Street is the way we know it as in the financial


heart of our country, Capital market generally
considered to be the barometer of any economy. The
vibrancy of this market reflects the optimism &
pessimism of investors in relation to the economy.

The basic function of this market is to create capital I.e.


it is a meeting place of investors, with surplus &
entrepreneurs’ needing capital. It provides investors
with means of participating in a real economy thereby
helping in wealth protection by targeting return above
the rate of inflation.

The Motive is to nurture the minds of our future


managers towards recognition of their skills and
capabilities in order to achieve effective opportunity
capitalization.

Telecom (Reliance Communications), Financial Exchange
(NCDEX ; United Stock Exchange of India as Head of Brand
& Corporate Communications) & Television Media (9X,INX
music & INX news channels).

Mr.Chakroborty has worked extensively through all


functions of brand management & consumer
understanding, thereby developing a core strength in
brand strategy. He has acquired strong analytical skills
coupled with excellent man management approach.
Mr.Chakroborty has an eye for spotting consumer trends
& has a vast knowledge base in market dynamics.

he has been into the core areas of the industry.
