Everyone Is Welcome, Everyone is Special, Christ is Lord RIDGEFIELD CHURCH

Those were the first three things I learned about this Church. I saw them on your OF THE NAZARENE
website after the DS called me and asked me to begin praying about whether or not
God was calling me here to be a part of this body of Christ. Often times what people PO Box 118
say they believe and what they actually believe are not the same thing, yet here, this

In the six months we have been here, you have made us feel nothing but welcome, Ridgefield, WA 98642

I have been excited by what God is doing among us and wanted to take just a few
seconds to highlight a few victories from our time together. Brian Thomas
In the past 6 months we have seen God move powerfully in our Worship services. Senior Pastor
In the past 6 months we have baptized 42 people.
In the past 6 months well over 50 people have made professions of faith.
In the past 6 months we have begun a variety of new ministries to help share the Loren Hanna
love of God with a desperate world. Hispanic Pastor
Grief Recovery, Divorce Recovery, Marriage Enrichment; and coming soon, an
addictions recovery ministry (Celebrate Recovery).
In the past 6 months we have been praying for and working on uniting the churches Steve Patee
of Ridgefield in sharing the love of God by offering a day a free medical care to our Children’s Pastor
community (Compassion Connect Clinic) in the name of Jesus and by offering to plan
and prepare for the first Baccalaureate Service that Ridgefield High school has had in

In the past 6 months we have seen a resurgence and new excitement and new Women’s Ministries
depth of faith in our youth ministries of the leadership of Pastor Casey and Jen and & Visitation Pastor
their leadership team as they focus on evangelism and discipleship.
In the past six months we have seen our Children’s ministries continue to grow
under the leadership of Pastor Steve and Laurie, Pastor Zach and Carrie, and Casey Schifelbine

 Missions
Call for Crisis Care Kits
These are distributed to people after a
natural disaster. Bags and lists are
available in the foyer. The challenge is 96
kits by March 31 and we have 65
completed.
Wednesday, March 30th
Come join us for a Jesus Film Harvest
Partners presentation. Revival is occurring
around the world. Help fan the flames for
Jesus in our church, our community, and
around the world.
Women’s Ministry
Tour of Hope presents: Empowering
Women to Change the World, an event on
global poverty, human trafficking, clean water,
and HIV. How will you make a difference?
Saturday March 26 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. This

Children’s Ministry
The Children’s Ministry at our church is
growing and we are excited! To help
accommodate our growth we are making some
positive changes:
1. The downstairs hallway and
classrooms are being renovated and
updated.
2. We are rearranging classrooms to
accommodate our largest age group-
preschoolers.
But with new classrooms means the need for
more volunteers…that’s where you all come in.

“…Let the little children come
to me, and do not hinder them, for the
kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I
tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive
the kingdom of God like a little child will
never enter it.” And he took the children in
his arms, put his hands on them and blessed
them.”
Our Children’s Ministry has a priceless
opportunity to make a positive impact on the
lives of not only our children, but also their
families. We would love for you to play a
