To Whom It May Concern, My intention in writing this letter and attached resume is to express an interest in being considered for pastoral appointment in your ministry field upon graduating from the Seminary this May. Before getting to the details of my training and experience in ministry, I thought it would be helpful to know a bit of my spiritual experience thus far. My journey begins in a multicultural Seventh-day Adventist Christian family, watching both my dad and grandfather plant and pastor their own congregations. However, it wasnt until college that my own personal passion for Jesus developed. I went to Southern Adventist University with the determined goal of becoming a medical doctor. But with the equivalent of three years in pre-med studies out of the way, God had different plans. He impressed a call to pastoral ministry on my life after spending a year away serving as an SDA Academy Dean. Since that point, it has been amazing to watch God confirming that call on my life. I am excited about Christ-centered ministry that reaches through generations to build the community our church increasingly longs to share with our changing world. What this means for me practically, is to use my influence as a spiritual leader, musician, and technology specialist to inspire a Church that is a refuge to all. My heart aches for those of the ever-emerging generations of Young Adults and Young Professionals on the outskirts of our Church communities. My goal is to remain a lifelong learner. However, the ministry skills God has led me to recognize come in the areas of transformational leadership, inspirational worship ministry, media production, and pioneering initiative. I would love to dialogue over the potential for serving in ministry with you in your area. With Regards,
