Urban Leadership Network Proposal

MISSION

The Mission of the Urban Leadership Network is to identify, equip, and enable multi-ethnic leaders for the
service of of existing and future urban churches throughout the country.

The ULN would be a network of urban leaders from around the nation whose desire is to see urban cities
transformed by the Gospel through the leadership and planting of local churches by identifying, equipping, and
enabling qualified leaders called by God.

HISTORY

CONTEXT

Need for "lanes" to be developed in order for minorities to have access to the same opportunities as others do in
church planting and other areas.

Bring structure to what the Lord is doing within Christian Hip Hop and urban communities.

Influence the theology of the next generation of leaders.

Answer the call to the church at large for need of minority leadership and students.

Leverage the relationships that have been created because of the platform we have been given.

VISION

We have a vision to see 10 Churches planted in the 10 largest urban/minority cities in the next 10 years. We call
it 10/10/10.

It is the vision of the ULN to strategically pick cities that have the largest urban/minority population and focus on
the goal of planting urban churches in those areas.
With a goal of stating that "We want to see 10 urban churches planted in the 10 largest minority cities in
American in the next 10 years" we would be able to gain a lot of support and momentum calling it 10/10/10.

We could establish the network and initiative on Oct 10, 2010.
