What Will The Owner Of The Vineyard Do?

Matthew 21: 33‐46 

1. The owner sent the servants to receive the fruits from the vineyard 
a. Understanding the spiritual meaning of this phrase 
i. The owner = God / Vineyard = Kingdom of Heaven / vinedressers = Israelites, religious people / servants 
= the servant of God / Son = Jesus Christ / the destruction of wicked vinedressers = days of judgment / 
the leasing of vineyard to other vinedresser who produce the share of fruits on time = the shifting of the 
grace of God. 
ii. God has given the matters in Heaven (the vineyard) to the saints (the vinedressers). 
1. God has made us understand the mysteries of fruit bearing and the living life through the 
prophets and Lord Jesus Christ. 
iii. The given works of the Kingdom of Heaven by God is hidden within the life of saint, their relationships, 
surrounding and time domain. 
iv. We have to bear fruits and deliver them every day on earth, which is bounded by time and space. 
2. Not only the vinedressers didn’t produce the fruits, but they have hurt and killed the servants and the Son of the 
Owner 
a. For those who doesn’t know Christ are against God and they will persecute Christ Jesus <Gen 3: 15, Psalms 2: 2, 
Rev 12: 1‐12> 
<Gen 3: 15> And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall 
bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel. 
<Psalms 2: 2> The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and 
against His Anointed. 
<Rev 12: 1‐12> And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as 
soon as it was born. She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. 
i. The gentiles persecuted Christ (The Anointed) 
1. Cain murdered Abel / the gentiles persecuted the Israelites / the world persecuted the saints. 
2. The religion which emphasizes being saved by good outward behaviors persecuted the faith in 
Christ Jesus. 
ii. Israel persecuted Christ: 
1. The kings of Israel and all the religious people who don’t understand Christ had killed many 
prophets, Jesus Christ the Son of God, the Disciples of Christ and many churches. 
iii. In today’s churches, the ones who persecutes Christ Jesus are the religious people 
1. The religious people in the church had turned to the matters of the world, good outward 
behavior, legalism, mysticism and humanism in their service and religious activities, which 
destroys the church of Christ. 
b. The reasons they could not accept Christ Jesus are: 
i. They do not understand the chosen one from God – the mystery of: “it is up to God to whom He had 
mercy and grace upon”. 
Æ Therefore, they couldn’t comprehend the Gospel of Christ which calls people to be saved and that 
sins were forgiven if person truly listened and believed. 
ii. They do not understand that we can only know God IF God reveals Himself to us. 
Æ Therefore, they have used ways and methods which are not from God to seek God. As a result, they 
were being deceived by the evil spirit (Satan). 
iii. They do not understand their spiritual condition (the fundamental problem) 
 Æ Therefore, they only emphasize on outward behavior and human tutelage. #The example of the 
pirates. 
iv. They do not understand why they MUST die and be resurrected with Christ, and do not understand the 
reasons of having a renewed life. 
Æ Therefore, they could not obtain a new identity, belongings, relationships, objectives, future and 
methods. They have no rights to call to God our Abba Father in Heaven. 
v. They could not discover the infinite love of God in their lives and in no ways to have a heart which loves 
God and the people. 
Æ Therefore, they could not comprehend why Christ Jesus has to be the Word became flesh, died and 
resurrected, and governs the authority in the Throne, which is the only way to lead the people to the 
way, the truth and the life towards God the Father in Heaven. 
Æ Because…since they were not born again, they could not see God’s perfect will and they couldn’t 
bear any good fruits. 
c. For those whom are not in Christ, they are living in curse: He will destroy those wicked men miserably <41>, and 
whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder <44>. 
* Problems will dwell in their spirit, heart, life, relationships, family and career. 
* Even if they are successful on earth, it will bring forth worse problems to their descendants. 
d. The kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it <43>. 
i. Repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its 
place—unless you repent <Rev 2: 5>. 
ii. The evidences in the history…the Israelites Æ the Gentiles / the revival movements of the Catholics / 
the rise and fall of the different denomination of Christian faith…  
3. The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. 
a. Christ is the corner stone which allows people to be united together <27, Eph 2: 11‐22>. 
i. The corner stone which unites the people with God 
= Only in Christ that people could have a “Father and son” relationship with God, the promise of God 
and be well with God  ÅÆ Religion could not perform such things. 
ii. The corner stone which unites people with themselves 
= Only in Christ that a person could dispose their feeling of low self esteem, arrogance and things which 
belongs to the flesh. Thus reviving their identity, qualification and condition, and the perfect will of God. 
iii. The corner stone which unites the Gentiles with the Israelites 
= Only in Christ that people could inherit the blessings of Abraham and Israel, and also the task of 
developing the 4 Gospelization within themselves. 
iv. The corner stone which unites people with God 
= Only in Christ that people could be well with God and other people. This will expand our network as 
well. 
v. The corner stone which allows us to relate to many things and matters 
= Only in Christ, we will have the authority to govern all things and manage all things. 
b. Because of Christ, He calls our life to be ALIVE 
= before we change in Christ (our identity, relationships, heart, foundation, fate), we do not have the conviction 
of the Holy Spirit and therefore, we could not see God’s perfect will and God’s love.  
i. After we obtained our new identity, we discovered that our identity is an identity of God’s children. 
ii. After we obtained our new belongings, we revived the reality at such that the Kingdom of Heaven is in 
our hearts and our living surroundings. 
iii. Once we obtained our new inheritance, we could see God’s perfect will in all things. 
 iv. When our fate has changed, we will no longer suffer meaningless accusations, but we could revive 
joyfulness and hope. 
c. We must bear fruits of live and should be able to produce it anytime when it is requested. 
i. We shall live according to the principles of a disciple which God has established. 
1. We must be able to walk with the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire together with the body of 
Christ <the book of Numbers>. 
2. We should have the bread, the evidence and prayer everyday in our temple and our home <the 
book of Acts>. 
3. In everyday, we should lead a live when we examine our selves and we’ll be cleansed, examine 
and be humbled, ask and obtained, seek and be blessed and when handed over to the Lord we 
obtain victory. 
4. For every word we speak, our thoughts, our believe and the things we do, it must have a proper 
foundation. We should be able to see what God has accomplished in the past and how God is 
leading and helping us currently. We should also believe that God is in charge of our future and 
the days to come. 
5. Every day, we should sing praises with a harmonious heart to the Lord and testify the Lord. May 
God allow us to meet with our peers in eternal and transform our lives so that it could be a 
blessing to others.
