4,518 unemployed in Vanuatu

Vanuatu has recorded an
unemployment rate of 4.6%.
And while there are more
unemployed males than
females in Vanuatu there are
more unemployed females in
the urban area.
This figure is derived from
the Labour Force statistics
(15 years and over) which
further revealed that the
total employed population in
Vanuatu is 42,295 and 4,518

M ost of the main road
around Malekula could not
be accessed last week due
to the bad weather and the
heavy rainfall that affected
the island on Tuesday.
