As the saying says ³any of your garbage that is not properly dispose will return to you´.

Indeed it is true but some was unaware yet and just do nothing to help and just adding more

problems to the environment. Garbage collecting is a major problem of most of the countries. It

is difficult to collect every dispose materials or trash especially if it is not properly place in their

proper location on where it should be collected. It makes more difficult if the people are not

following some rules given by the government. They think that it is not their problem because

they don¶t know, or it is just not their interest, the importance of collecting and properly

disposing their garbage or trash. Not just helping the collectors but also saving the planet, those

are two of the more importance of putting their trash on the proper place. An agency of

government, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, are making moves by

collecting the Solid Wastes and converting it to some useful things and if not, their disposing it

to a very much proper way. Collecting the garbage of each house and place is their primary

mission. It is a difficult task but with the help of the concerned citizen and other volunteer, it will

lessen the job. Solid waste management is a process of proper waste disposal which means

making your trash less problem to the environment. If everyone will do it, we can make almost

cancel out the solid waste as an environmental problem.

Making moves as early as now will save our future and the next generation from

disastrous effects of the garbage pollution. Garbage pollution is one of the more calamity

creating pollution and it is not just local but a global problem. Solid waste management or

simply disposing our garbage to a proper place and making some new and useful things out of it

is a much proper thing to do with our solid waste. In other words, we can say that segregating the
plastics from the papers will make the problem lighter. But what can we do after separating it? It

is the job of the garbage collector in each of our place to put every biodegradable to a

composting site and make a better thing out of it and place all the non-biodegradable to the

proper place where it will not incinerate but just letting it to decompose. It takes a lot of time to

decompose plastics so some chemical will add to decomposition but it has a side effect which

leads to another environmental problem. It is a convention to us to use synthetic material

everyday, for packaging, dragging, eating, drinking, etc . . . . We often see plastics from

everything that we buy from the groceries, supermarket and malls. Even the food that we eat are

packed with plastics and the drinks that we buy are place in a plastic cups. So why it is

necessarily plastic if we can wrap up or drag our things with non synthetic materials like paper

bags, drinking our beverages using our handy mugs. So disposing and using a biodegradable

material will help a lot to the problem.

We can help and save our planet to disastrous garbage by making own moves starting in

our own homes.     of plastics, papers, rubbers, leather, food excess or simply

separating the biodegradable to non-biodegradable wastes is a very helpful thing we can do to

not ruined our environment. Here we should always apply the 
of sustainable living and it

has something to do with any means of reducing, reusing, recycling and refusing. The concept

behind the first R,     , is that you should limit the number of purchases that will

create trash in the first place. Always look for the product that has the least product of disposable

parts and is made of renewable resources.      is that you should reuse items as much

as possible before replacing or disposing them.     
is that you should ensure that

all the items and their components are put to some new purpose as much as possible. So saving
and making a new life from a dying material is better than just letting it dye and disposing it. The

first 3R¶s
are great but sorely lacking a fourth     . Just say NO to a single use and

disposable plastics. Instead, bring your own shopping bag, travel mug for every purchase of

drinks, and bring your own container for take-outs and always ask for a non-disposal packaging.

By doing all of this refusal we can send a strong message to the synthetic manufacturers that we

can use a lot of substitute for plastics and use plastic materials seldom if we cannot completely

eliminate the use of it. We can also say that our rules and regulations, with regards to the law,

about segregation and indisposed trash is lacking. If we already had this laws, the punishment for

the abiders should increase and should pay for what they¶ve offense. So we should have laws

that we should put into practice all the time to lessen the problem about the pollution. So

combining segregation of solid wastes, following the 4R¶s and having laws with right

implementations will definitely help to reduce the problem of garbage pollution to our

environment.

We can say that solid waste management is a process of saving our planet from pollutions

and calamities which created by the indisposed garbage or by the mountainous synthetic

materials. If we cannot make this world a zero garbage planet then we should lessen it by making

moves starting in our own places. Proper disposal of all kinds of trash will lead to a brighter

future. Applying the 4 R¶s in our life will not make a burden but will make the global problems

lessen.
