Radix Approach

When eTimesheets came to Radix with their browser compatibility issues our
professionals got excited. But then when we were told that we had to
address these issues without changing the business logic of the logic we
became careful. Our team realized that the success of this project solely
depended on the analysis part. The better our analysis of the client website,
the better we would be positioned to make it browser compatible. Thus, we
gathered our best programmers and analysts and formed a dedicated team
to study the code logic. We ensured that our further efforts were defined by
this analysis.

The Solution

We had decided from the very beginning that we were going to let our initial
analysis of the client’s backend define the direction of our efforts. We were
proved right when our programmers and developers identified a few glitches
that were making the website non-compatible with certain browsers. Our
efforts can be traced as follows:

 We made necessary changes to the website and made it compatible

with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera.
 We made extensive changes to the JavaScript, CSS and user interface
of the website.
 We made minor changes to ensure that the website was capable of
handling heavy traffic.
 All the changes were made without altering the client’s website
behavior and business logic.

The Wrap Up

Although looking quite simple on the onset, this project reinforced our belief
in detailed analysis and study. Radix has always believed in adopting a
