MATERIALS AND RESISTANCE TO UV RAYS

The K-Lux luminaire is comprised of a painted die-cast aluminium base section

topped by a UV-stabilised moulded polycarbonate bowl.
The top of the bowl is closed by a cover made from a moulded synthetic material
which is also UV-stabilised.
The reflector is made from deep drawn, polished and anodised aluminium.

FINISHES AND OPTIONS

The cover of the K-Lux luminaire is optionally available in spun aluminium.

The protector is optionally available with a frosted effect. A painted
embellishment can be placed beneath the base of the luminaire so as to soften
the join between the post and the luminaire.
On request, the K-Lux luminaire is also available with IP 65 water and
dust resistance.

TOOL FREE ACCESS TO LAMP

No tools are required to open the luminaire. A captive screw positioned

on the top of the cover provides access to both the electrical control gear
and the lamp. The cover is secured by a double-action hinge which facilitates
maintenance operations.
The electrical control gear is positioned on a removable plate.
Access to the lamp is easily gained by rotating the plug.

MOUNTINGS

The K-Lux luminaire is post-top mounted using three M10 screws.
