Congregational Meeting regarding Pastoral Search
Sunday week 10th April in the church - 2:00pm
This meeting is a formal opportunity for the church to hear
about the process the Pastoral Search Committee have been
through and for the church community to provide feedback on
what you think are the priorities within the recently provided
document “Who We Are Looking For” (spare copies are
available in the foyer and downstairs). This is not a business
meeting of the church and as such no decisions will be made.
Mark this note in your calendar – however, if you want to provide feedback
prior to the meeting, or if you are not able to be at the meeting but want the
opportunity to provide feedback, feel free to approach any one of the PSC
members before April 10. Thank you.

Baptismal Service
Easter Sunday 24th April
Please let John or Michael know if you are thinking about
baptism. There will be a special session or two on
baptism as part of our member orientation process so
those considering baptism can join in. To be baptised on
Easter Sunday makes this day very special as we
remember with joy the resurrection of Jesus.
SERVANTHOOD VACANCIES
Currently we have many vacancies and/or need extra helpers
to fill in gaps in our church roster. Even though we have a new
roster for April & May released today, there are plenty of areas in
which you can be a servant to our fellowship from the time the next
roster is released in June. All that needs to be done is for you to indicate to our
roster co-ordinator, Jolene Adams (ph 5521 1875/email Jolene@bbr.com.au or
see her after the service), where you feel you may be able to assist in the
operation of our church.
Current needs remain in:
 Communion Preparation
 Lawn mowing (mower & whipper snipper available if you don’t have one)
 Door Greetings (both upstairs & downstairs overflow)
 Church cleaning, Hall & Kitchen Cleaning, Church House cleaning (3
separate duties).
Remember, many people on the roster mean the frequency of
duty is reduced widely among numbers. Also if you‟re
unfamiliar in some tasks that‟s okay – we undoubtedly
have plenty of willing „teachers‟ if it means sharing the
load!
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a
harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good
to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”

Norm & Karen’s NT Mission Op-Shops
The Missions clothing appeal is on again! Our
mission group has a work team going to the Roberts’ in
August and they are happy to take donations. Norm and
Karen’s Mission Op Shops need: toys, sports
equipment, baby’s/kids’ clothes 0-5 years, all shoes/runners
(not high heels) men’s jeans, ladies’ tops & skirts (NO
slacks) sports-type clothes, men’s shirts, short or long
sleeve, socks, underwear (in good nick) tracksuit tops, jackets,
coats, sheets, towels, curtains, but NO knitwear. Please see Wilma if you
