Detailed Description:
I’ve been involved with fabrication since I was 14 years old, my 1st project involved a
Verhovina moped.

In the last 5-6 years I’ve started creating my own vehicles. The first two were velocipedes
made out of wood on a metal frame.

The 3rd was a small amphibious vehicle, also built on metal frame.

The 4th is 90% complete solar powered wooden car-offered to the Hungarian flood victims.

Prior to the solar powered car implementation I consulted with the National Transportation
Agency to ensure the my custom vehicle will comply with the vehicle code.

The vehicle is categorized as an electric bicycle, large wheels, 2 person(as it was originally
planned).

My idea was to create vehicle that uses alternative energy with low or zero pollution.

The first step was planning. A computer simulation program was used to design a rigid steel
frame that supports propulsion, steering and the body. The body is constructed from 1.5-2 cm
thick pine planks that bares no weight. Not a complicated process: the planks where cut to
size and glued , sanded followed by to finishing work. The goal was to create a safe and
practical vehicle. The design on body includes the continents and the islands of the earth in
three-dimensional representation of the terrain.

Current work in progress includes the usage of tow system that would allow pulling a trailer.
Also plan o create a Taxi-style vehicle that would serve more as an attraction in downtown
areas that limited to foot traffic. Considered usage as a tourist guide and help handicap
transportation.

Technical Data

12 Volt system includes lights, blinkers, instrument and tape deck powered by the solar cells.

48 Volt system drives the main motor.

16 3.3 Volt Lithium battery connected in series circuit.

Computerized Battery Management System (BMS) of which an intelligent charger forms an

integral part.

Brakes: hand front brake, rear disk brakes.
