OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE NIKE FREE RUN 2 ID DESIGN OF THE WEEK CONTEST

NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. MUST BE A PERMANENT LEGAL US RESIDENT TO ENTER.

1. Who is eligible?

This Contest is open only to legal permanent US residents who are eighteen (18) or older as of April 1,
2011.

Employees of NIKE USA, Inc., its parent company, NIKE, Inc., their subsidiaries and affiliates, or of other
companies associated with the promotion of the Contest, as well as the immediate family (spouse,
parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible.

2. Who is sponsoring the Contest?

The Contest is sponsored by NIKE USA, Inc., One Bowerman Drive, Beaverton, Oregon 97005 (the
“Sponsor”).

Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel this Contest at any time. In the event of cancellation, and
at Sponsor’s sole discretion, Sponsor may substitute another promotion in its place.

3. How do I enter?

The Contest starts on or about 5:01 pm (PT) on April 1, 2011 and ends at 9:00 pm (PT) on April 21, 2011
(the “Entry Period”). During the Entry Period:

 Visit the NIKEiD Facebook page (www.facebook.com/nikeid) or the Nike Running Facebook page
(www.facebook.com/nikerunning).
 Click: Customize your Nike Free Run 2 iD (install Free Run 2 iD Facebook App, accept
permissions).
 Customize your Nike Free Run 2 iD.
 Click Share to add to the gallery.

There is a limit of one (1) entry per person. Subsequent entries will be void. All entries become the
property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

4. How will winners be selected?

The Sponsor’s Judges (from Nike Brand Marketing and Nike Designers) will select one (3) potential
winners (nine total potential winners) each week of the Entry Period (on or about April 7, 14, and 21,
2011), based on the creativity of their design. The potential winners will be notified by email within five
(5) days of the Judges’ decision. Decisions of Sponsor and Judge are final and binding in all respects, and
by participating, entrant agrees to be bound by the Official Rules and the Sponsor’s and Judges’
decisions.
5. What can I win?

Nine (9) Winners (three from each of the following dates: April 7, 14, and 21, 2011) will receive one (1)
pair of Nike Free Run 2 iD customized shoes, approximate retail value: $1035 ($115 each)

Any prize details not specified above will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Prizes are
not transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except
by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value
if the prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The winner
is responsible for taxes, if any, and any and all other costs and expenses not listed above.

6. What may a potential winner be required to do?

If a potential winner declines to accept the prize or has violated any of these Official Rules, then an
alternate entrant may be selected, at Sponsor’s discretion, in his/her place based on the criteria in
Section 4 above.

7. What other terms should I be aware of?

Unless prohibited by law, entrants agree to allow use of their name, voice, city/state of residence,
photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or
format now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification.

The Contest is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by
law. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for
any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, the Sponsor may, in its
sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest
in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random
from among the eligible entries received up to the of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in
its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the
operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or
disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest
may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves
the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the
Sponsor to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its parent and
related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released
Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or
receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the
Contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c)
printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the
administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property
which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the
Contest or receipt or use of any prize. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released
Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of participating in the Contest, and in no event shall the
Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever,
including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

8. How will disputes be handled?

Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising
out of, or connected with, the Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without
resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of
Oregon. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability
of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in
connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the
State of Oregon, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State
of Oregon or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction
other than the State of Oregon.

9. How can I find out who won?

To obtain the name of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Nike Free Run 2 iD
Design of the Week Contest, Attn: T. Ames/NIKEiD, NIKE, Inc., One Bowerman Drive, Beaverton, OR
97005. Requests must be received within four (4) weeks of the conclusion of the Entry Period. Residents
of the State of Vermont may omit return postage.
