Customize Google Homepage for Better Search

If you are using Firefox, follow these simple steps:

1. Go to Tools -- Add Ons

2. On the Right Bottom, click get extension
3. A window will pop up, click Customizegoogle, download it
4. Then to customize it, go to Tools -- CustomizeGoogleOptions.

By customizing the options you can block the sites in the search engine

If Internet Explorer Please do the following steps to block unwanted

want Internet Explorer to handle cookies from first-party Web sites and
third-party Web sites (a Web site other than the one you are currently
viewing).

4. To specify that you want Internet Explorer to always allow cookies

to be saved on your computer, click Accept.

5. To specify that you want Internet Explorer to never allow cookies to

be saved on your computer, click Block.

6. To specify that you want Internet Explorer to ask whether or not you
want to allow a cookie to be saved on your computer, click Prompt.
7. If you want Internet Explorer to always allow session cookies
(cookies that will be deleted from your computer when you close
Internet Explorer) to be saved on your computer, click Always allow
session cookies.

Here are the steps of updating the Windows Hosts file. Hosts file is
the file that keeps information about a node on a computer network.

Steps:

1. Open Command Prompt by typing cmd in the Run.

2. In the command prompt type “notepad

C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts” without quotes.

3. This will open a notepad file and locate a line saying 127.0.0.1
localhost.

4. Now under that line type the website address you want to block
prefixed with 127.0.0.1 example: 127.0.0.1 orkut.com

5. Now just save the file and exit. You can add several sites
following this method.

6. To remove the restrictions just remove the addresses.

1. *Basic Search :* Google automatically places "AND", "OR" operators

between all search items entered in the search box.
eg : Enter "eenadu news" in search box, Google search for

2. *Exact Search : *Use "" marks for finding the exact phrase

eg : Enter "Ramoji rao" in serach box ,

3. *Exclude Search* : Use "-" symbol in search box to exclude that

whne we are browsing internet sometimes unwanted sites wil open
automatically ..we wll see some unwanted sites , so to avoid
unwanted site while browsing internet .here some techinques from my own
exeperiense and net.
here some techniques

1) Go to tools>internet options>Privacy>Sites>And then

type whatever website you dont want to get people getting in to and click
block.
I also recommend you block proxy.org(it is a site that allows you to
enter block sites).

2)Use a pop-up blocker if they come up as pop-up windows (yahoo toolbar may
do the work for you).
Also select high level of security in your browser.
That would prevent many unwanted sites from being opened.
Also use a firewall (you can get a personal firewall like zone alarm for
free)

3)The issue in hand seems that your computer is effected by spyware and
adware
( adware is advertisment worm which will pop-up unwanted adds , spyware
which will spy ur imp file to hacker on net..).

This issue can be resolved by installing antivirus which has got both adware
and spyware inbulit in it...

Nortorn internet security or AVG 7.5 or mecfee .

4)How ever I suggest you to format you computer once and then install
antivirus first and then install any other software that will stop
any infected file introding and damanging your computer.

Also make sure that when you using internet , antivirus is turned on and I
suggest that antivirus should be in auto on or autoscan mode so that when
ever you turn on your computer , it will scan ur computer and will protect.

the click the k9 icon on your desktop it will redirect to

page, there u need to setup a password..

after that just click on the setup tab..
thats it...there you u can select as per your needs, which category u don't
want..
