SUPREME AUTHORITYSis.

Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the
kingdom. (Luke 12:32)

Dearly beloved in Christ! God grants His authority to those whose hearts are fully
committed to Him. We eagerly seek the Lord in order to receive His mighty power and
authority. His eyes are focused upon those who seek Him sincerely. God desires to
grant you His power and authority.

The Bible says, “For the eyes of the Lord range through out the earth to strengthen
those whose hearts are carefully committed to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9). Our desire to
seek God should be like the experience of king David who says, “…As the deer pants
for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God” (Psalm 42:1).

We ought to eagerly seek the mighty power and blessings of God. The Lord has focused
His eyes upon all those who ask Him with great thirst. The Bible says, “Indeed, he who
watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep” (Psalm 121:4). Our Lord is able to
protect us. He does not slumber or sleep.

When we seek our parents for our worldly needs, they are unable to give us all our
needs at all times. However, our heavenly Father is waiting to give us His power at any
time. Even if we cry out to Him during the night, He will be glad to answer our prayer.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how He went
around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God
was with Him” (Acts 10:38).

Dearly beloved in Christ! It is our duty to ask for this power from the Lord. Then He will
be with us all the time just as He was with Jesus. The Lord who promised is faithful. So
He will certainly give His power to those who are committed to Him. Every authority in
the earth as well as in heavens has been given to Him (Matthew 28:18). Today let us
receive this authority from Him.

The Lord has sent His only begotten Son into this earth only for this purpose. He has
many names such as a Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and the
Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Let us ask Him with a longing in order to inherit His mighty
power. May the prayer of Jacob be our prayer as well, "Lord! I will not let You go unless
You bless me!"

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I trust that at the mention of Your name every knee should bow, of those in
heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every
tongue should confess that You are the Lord, to the glory of God the Father. You
told, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." You have
promised to abide with us always, even to the end of the age." On this wonderful
day, please grant me Your authority so that the signs of those who believe in You
will follow me. May my life reveal Your glory now and forever.

In Your magnificent name I pray.

Amen.
GREATER GRACEDr. Paul Dhinakaran
And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, (Ephesians
2:1)

Dearly beloved in Christ! My father used to narrate a funny story. There lived a husband
and wife in a family. There was a vast difference between both of them. The husband
was soft spoken and patient. On the contrary, his wife will not get sleep if she had not
picked up a quarrel with him. Every morning just before her husband leaves for his office
she would fight with him. Then she will be waiting for her husband to comeback from
office. Her love for him was that intense. As soon as he returned, she will give him a cup
of coffee and then start her fight. This happened continuously. One day the husband
went to his office as usual but suddenly he died due to heart attack. His colleagues
brought his dead body to his house. His wife could not bear that sight. She fell on his
body and cried aloud. Within a few moments, she too died of unbearable shock. Those
who brought the husband’s body from the office turned pale on seeing this tragic scene.
All of them said with one accord, “Poor fellow! We thought that he will be having a
peaceful life atleast in heaven after his death. Alas! His wife has followed him to fight
with him there also”.

Similarly, sin follows us. A person will surely reap the consequences of sin even after
death (Hebrews 9:27). “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). The Bible says,
“Where sin increased, grace increased all the more” (Romans 5:20). When sin increases
the grace of God also increases more and more. The Lord shall be with you through out
this year and increase His grace in your life. The more sin increases in this world, the
Lord shall increase His grace also accordingly. He shall keep sin under control. These
days we see unrighteousness increasing in this world.

Dearly beloved in Christ! The Bible says, “Let him who does wrong continue to do
wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right;
and let him who is holy continue to be holy. Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is
with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done” (Revelation 22:11,
12). When you feel that unrighteousness is on the increase in this world, always
remember that the grace of God is sufficient for us and His grace will help us to destroy
sin.

Prayer:

Almighty God,

You have asked us to be holy because You are holy. Give me the grace to lead a
holy life pleasing to Your eyes. May my thoughts, words and deeds be seasoned
with Your love and compassion that they pour forth graciousness to those who
surround me. Help me to reflect Your glory in all that I do on this day.

In the matchless name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Amen.
BLESSINGS ON THE BELOVEDSis. Stella Dhinakaran
…I will be their God, And they shall be My people. (2 Corinthians 6:16)

Dearly beloved in Christ! God blesses the habitation of the just (Proverbs 3:33). Even if
there are any problems in your family, God will remove it and bless your home beyond
your understanding. Many write letters to us stating, “Sister! We accepted Jesus Christ
and surrendered our lives to Him. We receive the children of God in our homes. God
blesses our family. He has enabled us to own a house.” We receive many similar such
testimonies. When we also do like that, as we read in the Bible, “God will dwell in them
and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people” (2 Corinthians
6:16).

Zacchaeus sought God diligently (Luke 19:5). Jesus went to his house and blessed him.
Likewise, when we invite God, He will come and dwell in our house. “Those who fear the
Lord speak to one another” (Malachi 3:16). Remember God listens to our conversation
at home. So, let us think and speak only those things which please Him. Then, He will
come into us and dwell in us and make us His temple (1 Corinthians 3:16, 17). When we
accept the Lord, who loves us and wants to dwell with us in our heart, whole-heartedly,
He will grant us His divine peace, joy and blessings in abundance.

Years ago, my husband went on an official tour to Mumbai. A certain brother there who
helped my husband requested, “Sir! Ask God about me when you pray alone.” One day,
when my husband prayed with fasting, he prayed, “Lord! Please tell me about him!”
Filled with agony God told, “Son! This man came to Mumbai as a pauper. He neither
had money nor a place to lodge in. Enduring hardships, he sought Me diligently early in
the morning. He pleaded, “Unless You bless me, where will I go?” Daily I longed to hear
him talk and answered his prayers. I blessed him with a good job and also granted him
promotion in his work. Having received enough of material blessings, suddenly he
stopped seeking Me. Everyday, I waited for him wondering, “Will My son come in search
of me?” However, he never came. Such is his plight. Make this known to him.”
Dearly beloved in Christ! God wants to dwell in your home today. “Abraham was called
the friend of God” (James 2:23). So God blessed him and all that he had. He made him
great (Genesis 24:35). Likewise He will bless you also. You shall lack in no good things
according to the verse, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in
glory by Jesus Christ” (Philippians 4:19). Be of good cheer!

Prayer:

Almighty God,

I trust that You are my Provider and that on the mountain of the Lord all my needs
will be supplied just as how it happened to Abraham. Silver and gold is Yours. We
receive good things from Your bounty and offer a part of it to You. Give us the
grace of having an unceasing fellowship with You and help us to be grateful to
You for all the showers of blessings that You send upon us.

In the matchless name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Amen.
REVERENCE REWARDSSis. Stella Dhinakaran
Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights
greatly in His commandments. (Psalm 112:1)

In a certain poverty-stricken family, the father, mother and their children who loved each
other dearly lived in different places. They were separated from each other because
they did not have enough money for their livelihood. The head of the family went to
Bombay in search of a job. He could not take his family along with him because he knew
that his meager income would not support them. Leaving behind his family, he went to
Bombay and worked hard.

Do you know what the mother did? She regularly attended the Esther Prayer Group
conducted at “Jesus Calls” office once in a month from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Besides not
being familiar with the route and coming from a long distance she started at 12 noon to
reach the Jesus Calls office at 3 pm, along with her son. After the meeting got over at 5
pm she would reach home at 8 pm. God looked into her reverence and opened a way
for her husband to start a business on his own in Chennai. They enrolled both their
children in the Children Blessing Plan. God blessed them and the business began to
flourish. Their wilderness was turned into a well-watered garden.

So when you take a decision to fear God as a family and when you confess all your
weakness to God, He will take care of your family. He will remove your sorrow and short
comings and prosper your life, which was like wilderness. The midwives Shiphrah and
Pauh were amidst the Israelites. Pharaoh made a decree saying, “When you do the
duties of a midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son,
then you shall kill him.”

But those two midwives feared God and gave a wise reply to the Pharaoh saying, “The
Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women; for they are lively and give birth before
the midwives come to them.” So God provided households for them (Exodus 1:15-21).
When a husband and wife seek the Lord with reverence, He will prosper them.

The Bible says, “..he who trusts in the Lord will be prospered (Proverbs 28:25). The
wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and
blossom as the rose; (Isaiah 35:1). Your life may be like wilderness and filled with many
problems. But the Lord says, “I will take care of the families of My children, who fear Me.
I will prosper their families.” The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Let us
fear God and be blessed by Him.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge. Give me the grace to fear You
and always depart from evil. May my thoughts, words and deeds be pleasing to
You always. I trust that You are the Rewarder of all those who believe in You. Help
me to patiently continue in the pursuit of doing what is good and not grow weary
in reaching out to others in need. Give me Your love and grace and that is enough
for me.

In Your matchless name I pray.

Amen.
THE ALMIGHTY GODDr. Paul Dhinakaran
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. (James
4:10)

Dearly beloved in Christ! Once I conversed with a famous doctor and he shared the
details of his life with me. It is as follows: “My father was a wealthy man with a lot of
possessions and property. We had numerous servants and led a happy life. My father
had a brother, whom he loved dearly. When everything seemed bright, suddenly my
father died. At the point of his death, only my uncle (father’s brother) was with him. After
my father’s demise, I was in profound agony. One fine day my uncle brusquely told me:
“Quit this house! This house and all the properties are mine! Your father has
bequeathed everything to me in his will.” I came to conclusion that before my father’s
death, my uncle had deceitfully written the will in his favour! My heart sank in sorrow.
Besides having lost my precious father, I had now lost his possessions and properties
as well.

With tears in my eyes, with nothing in my hands I stepped out as an orphan not knowing
the next course of my action. Basically I had no one on this earth who would shower
their love upon me. However, God always placed His eyes upon me. He opened the
doors for me so that I could reside and study in a convent. My education was taken care
of by God. I grew up to be a truthful boy and God blessed my studies. Whatever
examination I wrote, I came through as the topper; God exalted me in all respects!
Today, God made me – an orphan a renowned doctor and chief of a particular
Department”.

Joseph was a young man, living like a royal prince in his father’s house. He was greatly
loved by his father, Jacob. However, on account of the envy of his brothers, he was sold
as a slave and taken to Egypt. There he was bought out from the Ishmaelites by
Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, Captain of the guard, an Egyptian, who took him to his
house. In the midst of all these calamities, Joseph loved God with all his heart. The Lord
was with Joseph. When his master saw that the Lord was with him, he made him
overseer of his house and gave all that he had in his charge. The Lord blessed the
Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake and His blessing was on all that he had in the house
and in the field (Genesis 39:1-5).

Joseph, from the lowly state of a slave was elevated to the high status of a top officer in
the captain’s house. That was not all! In spite of his tribulations and agonizing
experiences, God was with him and exalted him to the position of the Governor over all
the lands of Egypt.

Dearly beloved in Christ! Our Lord wants to exalt you also in the same way (James
4:10). You may be pining alone having lost everything. Your kith and kin may hate you!
You might have been thrust into the depressed section of the society. Nevertheless, the
Lord who was with Joseph is also by your side. You are no more orphans. God can uplift
you. He longs that everyone who loves Him, should occupy an elevated position. Keep
saying within your mind, “God of heaven is my Father. I am no more an orphan!” He
loves you. The Almighty God who made Joseph the Governor of Egypt, will bless you
and put you in a lofty position in the society. He will honour you. Be of good cheer!

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I humble myself and prostrate at Your feet. You alone can pick up anyone from
the miry clay and make them scale high places in the society. For with You
nothing is impossible. I offer this day into Your hands. Please bless this day for
me and help me experience that You are with me always.

In Your mighty name I pray.

Amen.
THE AWESOME NAMESis. Stella Dhinakaran
Because I live, you will live also. (John 14:19)

Dearly beloved in Christ! In a foreign country, a widow found it difficult to bring up her
three children. Days rolled by in tears and agony! One day she came to the conclusion
that it would be better to die rather than to live in this world. So, she locked herself in a
room along with her three children and opened the cooking gas cylinder. Suddenly she
heard a song broadcast over the radio found in the adjacent room. The song meant “Is
there a good friend like Jesus?” These words kindled her faith. She thought, “Being a
follower of Jesus Christ, how could I forget Him in a moment? Is not my Lord my friend?
He loves me and won’t forsake me.” Then she closed the gas cylinder and offered a
prayer of thanksgiving along with her children.

We read in the Bible that a family at Bethany, consisting of Martha, Mary and Lazarus
welcomed Jesus Christ whenever He passed through their city. One day, Lazarus died
and his sisters Martha and Mary were grief-stricken. However, when Jesus Christ came,
Martha rushed to see Him. During the course of their conversation Jesus looked at
Martha and told, “If you believe you shall see the glory of God.” Ultimately Jesus Christ
commanded Lazarus to come forth from the grave and he was restored to his sisters. If
you believe, the Lord Jesus Christ will be with you. The Psalmist says, “In my distress I
cried to the Lord, and He heard me” (Psalm 120:1). When you pass through sorrow, He
will perform miracles in your life and bless you.

Dearly beloved in Christ! Whatever be the predicaments that you are faced with in life,
always remember that if you believe, you will surely see the glory of God being
manifested in your life. God is eagerly waiting to reveal His glory in your life provided
you are willing to trust in His name which is above all other names. The Bible says, “God
also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at
the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth,
and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is
Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11). Therefore, let us believe in
this awesome name and taste His goodness in our life.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I trust in Your name which is above all names. You are mighty to save anyone
who call upon Your name in truth. You are my Redeemer, Shield, Song, Salvation,
Strength, Fortress and Tower. You are a present help in times of trouble. You
make me ride in high places and eat the finest of wheat. On this day, please help
me to believe in You to taste Your goodness in my life.

In Your matchless name I pray.

Amen.
FOES WILL SEEK YOUR FELLOWSHIPDr. Paul Dhinakaran
When a man's ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at
peace with him. (Proverbs 16:7)

Dearly beloved in Christ! One of the common complaints today is that many young
people and old alike complain, “I have many enemies in my life. Even my friends are
hostile to me with no rhyme or reason! They all threaten to kill me; I have lost my peace.
I am far away from God. My life is shattered.” It is here that we should always bear in
mind that Isaac was also surrounded by enemies. However, his life made a difference in
the fact that God was with him and therefore his enemies were scared of him. As a
result, they came to make peace agreements with him.

Dearly beloved in Christ! From the following text we understand another dimension of
blessing received by Isaac, who has been blessed by God hundredfold. Since God – the
source of all blessings, was with him all his enemies came to him with an offer of a
covenant of peace. Isaac said to them (his enemies), "Why have you come to me, since
you hate me and have sent me away from you?" But they said, "We have certainly seen
that the Lord is with you. So we said, 'Let there now be an oath between us, between
you and us; and let us make a covenant with you, 'that you will do us no harm, since we
have not touched you, and since we have done nothing to you but good and have sent
you away in peace. You are now the blessed of the Lord'" (Genesis 26:29). The Bible
says, “When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace
with him.” (Proverbs 16:7).

Dearly beloved in Christ! I have seen many who spoke and wrote against my father.
However, a day dawned when God granted him the anointing of the Holy Spirit in an
abundant measure and performed mighty miracles through him. God raised his position
in the secular realm. He was promoted to hold high positions one after another. God
blessed and exalted him in all respects. Earlier, those who raised their voices in hostility
being his foes sought his fellowship saying, “God is with you”. Finally they became his
intimate friends. When Jesus Christ – the unchanging, abides with you, He will lift you
up. He will graciously see that even your enemies make peace with you.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

On this wonderful day I pray that the thoughts of my mind and the meditation of
my heart always be pleasing to You. Oh, turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give
Your strength to Your servant. Please show me a sign for good, that those who
hate me may see it and be ashamed, because You, Lord, have helped me and
comforted me. I believe that when You are mindful of me and bless me, my
enemies who may dwell in any corner of the world shall fear You. Enable me to be
a peace-maker like Isaac in all that I do on this day.

In Your matchless name I pray.

Amen.

casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

Dearly beloved in Christ! If you accept Christ He will be with you always. When we open
our heart and ask God, “Lord! Please come into my heart and remove all the addictions
and evil things from me,” He will certainly bless us. The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord
Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household” (Acts 16:31).

Like Joshua, we should serve God as a family. However, sadly this is not the case in
many families today. When the children are old enough to get married they marry a
person of their own choice with or even without the acceptance of their parents. Some
young people write to me as follows: “Aunty, I have chosen a beautiful person to be my
life partner. Kindly pray that God should help me to marry the same person.” Dearly
beloved in Christ! Please handover the responsibility of selecting your soul mate to God.
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be
added to you” (Matthew 6:33). When we seek God first, He will give us the best in life.

When I reached marriageable age, my parents told me, “We are keenly looking at
prospective proposals to arrange your marriage.” On hearing these words some sort of a
fear gripped my heart which questioned, “What would you do if your man turned out to
be a wicked person?” I was perplexed. However, immediately I knelt down in the
presence of God and prayed, “Loving Lord! My parents are searching for a suitable life
partner for me. You know that I love You with my whole heart. Please bless me with a
god-fearing person as my partner.” After the prayer, a great peace filled my heart. It was
a sign that God has taken care of me. We read in the Bible, “Cast all your care upon
Him, for He cares for you?” (1 Peter 5:7). Let us learn to lean always on Jesus Christ for
everything. His blessings alone can make us rich in this world.

Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,

Help me to trust in You with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding;
In all my ways enable me to acknowledge You so that You shall direct my paths.
Keep me away from being wise in my own eyes that I fear You and depart from
evil. May my reverence for You be health to my flesh and strength to my bones.
Give me the grace to take all decisions leaning on Your divine counsel.

In Your matchless name I pray.

Amen.
BLESS ME LIKE ISAACDr. Paul Dhinakaran
I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great;
And you shall be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2)

Dearly beloved in Christ! A certain poor but young man who had no place for God in his
life started a small-scale dairy farm. One day, he casually read the Bible and eventually
came into the knowledge of God. Then he started reading the Word of God regularly.
One day the following Biblical verse dazzled before his eyes. “Isaac sowed in that land,
and reaped in the same year a hundred fold.” Holding onto these words, he pleaded,
“Almighty God! Please bless me like Isaac - a hundredfold.” The divine counsel of God
descended on him. He could not afford to purchase readymade cattle feed available in
shops for exorbitant prices. After casting all his cares to the Lord through prayer, he
started preparing home-made fodder.

Dearly beloved in Christ! God blessed his efforts. When the indigenous preparation was
given to his cows, they started to fatten and yield more milk than expected. In course of
time, other dairy owners who observed his growth found that the fodder he prepared
was the reason behind the well-being of his cows. They started to purchase the fodder
from him. So he began manufacturing the cattle-fodder on a large scale. His industry
which had a humble beginning was blessed magnificently by God. It flourished and
today he is a millionaire in America. God has showered His blessings upon him and
blessed him like Isaac that he now supports God’s ministry in many ways. (Ezekiel
34:26; Genesis 26:12-14).

Dearly beloved in Christ! Perhaps you fret considering your poor performance in studies,
or your insignificant family background, or being ostracized by the society and eventually
the fear that you may not prosper at all in this life! However, bear in mind that God is
impartial and His thoughts concerning you are not so. The Almighty God who blessed
Isaac hundredfold and turned the ordinary milk man into a multi-million business magnet
can certainly bless you. Seek Him and His kingdom first in your heart. Love Him with
your whole being. Implore Him, appealing to Him, “O Lord, bless me hundred fold as
You blessed Isaac.” God will definitely bless you.

Prayer:

Loving Lord,

I pray that You make me a thousand times more numerous than I am and bless me
as You have promised me! Make me glad according to the days in which You have
afflicted me, the years in which I have seen evil. Please cause Your showers to
come down in their season; and may there be showers of blessing.

In Your precious name I pray.

Amen.

GOD LOVES TO BE WITH YOU.Sis. Stella Dhinakaran

He will bless those who fear the LORD, Both small and great. (Psalm
115:13)

Dearly beloved in Christ! My father-in-law served in the army in another country for a
short-time. Once, when the fighting was going on, they were forced to spend the nights
in a place covered with snow. They slept in tents. One morning when he woke up, he
saw his tent completely covered with snow and that there was not even a small gap for
the air to come in for him to breathe.

Finally, he saw a small hole and he started breathing with the air that came through that
hole. With a heavy heart, he thought, “Alas! I left my family and came here and I do not
know what is going to happen to me.” The next moment he looked to God and began to
pray faithfully. His superior officers, who were checking the roll call, found him missing
and came in search of him. When they came near his tent, my father-in-law knocked at
the roof of the tent with the rifle in his hand. From that sound, they could identify the
place where he was trapped and rescued him and brought him out.

Dearly beloved in Christ! Jacob was a young man who did not know God or about His
presence. However, God knew him and He abided in him. God was waiting for an
opportunity to reveal Himself to him and to make him aware of His presence. Then came
a time when it looked as if he was forsaken by all and at that time God met him through
a vision (Genesis 28:12-14). And this is the time Jacob said, “Surely the Lord is in this
place and I did not know it.” Jacob did not leave God after this encounter. He took hold
of Him and never left Him forever. If you read the history of his life, you will see how
closely Jacob lived with God till the end of his life.

Dearly beloved in Christ! In all situations, God loves to be with you. People can forsake
you. You may have been put behind bars on false charges. Your enemies may be
troubling you for no fault of yours. However, remember that God who came seeking
Jacob to bless his future, is ready to change and bless your life also. Always remember
that He is very close to You waiting to bless you (Proverbs 10:6; Psalm 115:13).

Prayer:

Loving Saviour!

Today, I have come to know how close You are to me and how eager You are to
bless me and my family! People in this world may forsake me but I firmly believe
that You would be with me till the end of my life. I praise You and thank You for
this wonderful blessing. I pray this prayer in the mighty and sweet name of our
Lord Jesus.

Amen.

ONE WHO HAS THE SON HAS LIFEDr. Paul Dhinakaran

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is
liberty. (2 Corinthians 3:17)

Dearly beloved in Christ! Our Lord told, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to
kill and to destroy” (John 10:10). The Psalmist says, “For the enemy has persecuted my
soul; he has crushed my life to the ground; he has made me dwell in darkness, like who
have long been dead” (Psalm 143:3). In this world, we have both the presence of God
and that of the wicked devil. The devil walks about seeking whom he may devour (1
Peter 5:8). He keeps us in darkness and follows our soul and life to destroy us.

When Jesus went to the country of Gadarenes, He saw a man with an unclean spirit
bound with chains and living in the tombs. He was cutting himself with stones and blood
was oozing out. The devil entered him and made him to do such things, because he
wanted to take away his life. However, Jesus came in search of him. When he saw
Jesus, he came running to Him and knelt down before Him. The devil asked Jesus
through that man, “You are the Son of the Most High God! Why did You come to torment
us? What have we to do with You?” Jesus manifested His light and commanded the
devil to come out. When God’s light descended, within a fraction of a second, all the
devils fled. Then the devil possessed man came to his senses, wore his clothes and
begged Jesus that he might follow Him. People were amazed to see the devil-
possessed man, who could not be bound with shackles and chains once, as a new
creation (Mark 5:1-5).

Dearly beloved in Christ! Are you taking narcotics and destroying your life for sheer
pleasure or owing to peer pressure? Devil is waiting to destroy your life but when you
invite Jesus Christ – the light of life, into your heart you will certainly be delivered from
the clutches of the devil. Jesus Christ is alive and unchanging. Are you depressed
because of the fear of death and sickness? Be of good courage! God’s life giving light
will shine upon you now. Let us boldly say, “He who has the Son has life”. Amen.
Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You came into the world not to condemn mankind but that through You we may
be saved to live a prosperous life on this earth. Please help me to understand that
I am made to sing Your praises every moment of my life. Guide me with Your
divine counsel and guard me under Your mighty healing wings that protect.

In Your matchless name I pray.

Amen.
HOW MUCH MORE?Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of
My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your
young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. (Acts
2:17)

Dearly beloved in Christ! The Lord pours His Holy Spirit and His fire into us and
cleanses us. It is this fire which burns and destroys all the sins within us. Then the Holy
Spirit Himself shall dwell in our hearts. He baptizes us with His Holy Spirit and fire. Both
Sam and Sharon, our loving children were watching a video about antichrist while they
were 12 years and 10 years old respectively. After watching that video they were
gripped with fear as to whether antichrist would take hold of them and torture them. Both
of them came running to me and asked me, “Mummy, all of you have been anointed by
the Holy Spirit. But we do not have that experience. Will the antichrist torment us? All of
you will go to heaven during the Second Coming. Will we be left alone in this world?”

I was waiting for this opportunity. Immediately I took them inside the room and detailed
to them about the Holy Spirit with reference from the Bible. Then, we prayed with one
accord saying, “Lord, please fill us now with Your Holy Spirit. Only if You fill us with Your
Holy Spirit, we can go to heaven. Otherwise antichrist will torture us.” The following day,
all of us left for Coimbatore to take part in the Power Ministry to be held for 10 days. I
took my children also along with me to the Power Ministry believing that if they asked
the Lord for the Holy Spirit with the same longing, He will certainly grant them His Holy
Spirit. Normally children are not allowed to participate in the Power Ministry. However,
Sam and Sharon somehow entered the hall during the anointing session, knelt down
and started praying for the Holy Spirit. The Lord who looked at their thirst and longing to
receive the Holy Spirit filled both of them that day with His mighty Holy Spirit. Both of
them received the fire anointing that day to overflowing capacity. When they pray in the
Jesus Calls Prayer Festivals these days, many receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit as
well as physical healing.
Dearly beloved in Christ, if the Lord is able to pour His Holy Spirit upon little children
who long for the Holy Spirit, will He not grant you the same? The Lord, who pours His
Holy Spirit upon all those who ask Him with longing, will certainly anoint you with His
Holy Spirit. In this New Year you shall stand firm and watch the salvation granted to you
by the Lord. He shall certainly save you from your enemies, from the problems that crop
up in your family, from hopeless situations and from all your losses. This New Year will
be a year of blessing for you in everyway.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

You had the anointing of the Holy Spirit without measure while You sojourned on
this earth. Please fill me with the same anointing that You had so that signs such
as casting out demons in Your name, speaking with new tongues, taking up
serpents, drinking anything deadly and not being hurt, laying hands on the sick
and they will recover will follow me when I believe in You. Help me to move about
doing good and bring glory to Your holy name.

In Your matchless name I pray.

Amen.
