So just over half the biodome would need to be trees to produce enough oxygen if only trees were used for human oxygen consumption. Maybe it is too big?
Other plants etc would be essential for food chains etc so they could cover photosynthetic requirements for everything else
But concrete would be likely to be used for construction and that absorbs CO2 permenantly so something would be needed to counter balance this. Or use concrete which has already absorbed CO2 to the maximum.
Or bring in regular supplies or mine something from planet surface outside to release trapped CO2 e.g. Calcium carbonate
Total air consumed per day 241,920 litres per day 11,520 http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1590/is_n7_v50/ai_14719231/
Total oxygen consumed per day 48,384 litres per day 2,304 Article on a real biodome experiment.NB Concrete absorbed the CO2 which prevented suffient photosynthesis
Total volume / volume consumed per day 911 times Perhaps unnecessarily large, or perhaps necessary for fluctuations
