SPA3000 India/Pakistan settings

We are planning to add India and Pakistan specific settings for the SPA3000 to the localization wizard. Voxilla News

If you have a working SPA3000 in India or Pakistan, please post the settings that have worked for you.

sorry, I just recalled I did a few tweaks when wasnt able to dial '#' or sometimes '0' while connected

Kamran, need some help here. I am trying to configure FWD on VoIP2 and set up a PSTN-VoIP
gateway. Any help here would be appreciated.

u'll have to configure fwd account settings under both ur PSTN and LINE1 tab as :
Sip port must be different, assume 5061 for LINE1 and 5062 for PSTN Line
proxy: fwd.pulver.com
outbound proxy:fwdnat.pulver.com:5082
Use OutBound proxy: yes

On the PSTN line tab, under PSTN to VoIP Gateway setup, make the following changes:

PSTN-To-VoIP Gateway Enable: Yes

PSTN Caller Auth Method: PIN
PSTN CID For VoIP CID: Yes
PSTN Caller Default DP: 1

On the PSTN Line tab under PSTN-To-VoIP Gateway Setup, change as follows:
PSTN Caller 2 PIN: 5678
PSTN Caller 2 DP: 2

On the PSTN Line tab under Dial Plans, change as follows :

Dial Plan 2: (<#3,:>xx.|1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxxS0<:@gw1>|011[1-9]
xxxxx.S0<:@gw2>|<#1:>xx.<:@gw3>)

On the LINE1 Line tab under Gateway Accounts define different gateways to use them according to
their calling rates for different countries.
Anyway,If you press #3 after authentication, u will hear a dialing tone, and then u can dial
any number and the call will route through any provider whose settings have been setup
under LINE1 Tab which id FWD in your case

and further if you want to give someone who's dialing your fwd number access to the local dial tone
(i.e VOIP to PSTN):

On the PSTN line tab, under VoIP-To-PSTN Gateway setup, make the following changes:

VoIP-To-PSTN Gateway Enable: Yes

VoIP Caller Auth Method: PIN
One Stage Dialing: yes
VoIP Caller Default DP: 1
Line 1 Fallback DP: none

VoIP Caller 6 PIN: 4321

VoIP Caller 6 DP: 6

On the PSTN Line tab under Dial Plans, change as follows :

Thanks for the info. Kamran. Can you please let me know how to do this with Line 1 having a different
provider while PSTN tab having FWD. Additionally, any information on Telecard FWT settings for
impedence as I am using them for the PSTN side.

Think of them as two separate units in one box. Line 1 is what you access when you pick up the phone
connected to the 3K. The pstn line is what you plug into your wall jack. VoIP Line 1 ---> a phone ,
PSTN---> your phone line

Look at the block diagram in the manual. You could have two different FWD numbers, one in the line
one settings and one in the PSTN settings, or a completely different provider, or several (including
FWD) on line one. Someone calling the first number (line 1) would ring your phone, calling the second
would get dialtone from your landline (after inputting a pin etc...) You could pick up the phone and dial
your second number coming right back in onn the PSTN line and get dialtone.

Telecard is a local WLL provider who is providing PSTN type service over a CDMA network. I think you
understood my statement incorrectly.
