there working area, such as;

The questioned TA also suggested to assign exam proctoring to other specialist and to leave
administrative work for administrators

 No, the questioned TA could not recall any tasks that were not included in the job
description as it has been modified recently.

 job summary
Helping both students and teachers in all areas of the curriculum, he or she is there to assist and
develop the teaching process as a whole. Beside supporting, coaching and counseling students
they are responsible for carrying out a follow ups with their parents. TAs also helps in the
preparation of the learning environment.

 Responsibilities and Duties

 Teaching assessment responsibilities


1. Attend lectures with students.
2. Carry out tutorials.
3. Specify daily office hours for the student’s sake.
4. Assist teachers with maintaining student’s class work.
5. Carry out a weekly follow up with their parents.
6. Preparation and presentations of student’s assignments.
7. Attend meetings.
8. Carry out extra tutorials.

 Administrative duties
1. Help in the registration process.
2. Perform exam proctoring.
3. Doing other unspecified administrative work.

 Qualifications
• Education: at least 2 years college degree is needed
• Skills: knowledge of the courses that they will teach, very good computer skills, and very
good language skills.
• Personality traits: TAs should be adaptable, having good communication skills,a and
helpful

 Working conditions
• the TAs day starts at 9am and ends at 4:30pm
• the working environment confined to classrooms and office inside the university
• sometimes field trips are needed outside the university
• computers, data shows, projectors, markers, and white boards are needed to assist the
working environment of the TA
