This easygoing jacket combines well-placed
details, such as an eye-catching diamond relief
pattern, with thoughtful construction for a delightful
knit. The cardigan is worked in one piece to the
armholes, but a faux seam at each side and waist
shaping provide structure and a great fit. The applied
I-cord edging and petite cable create a finished edge
along the fronts and continue around the hood.

but is worked in an easily memorized eight-stitch
repeat. A turned hem gives the bottom edge weight
and flare, and fully fashioned shaping gives the skirt
flattering princess lines. Ribbing defines the waist
and flows smoothly into the bodice pattern. Wear it
as a jumper or a long layer over jeans or leggings.

and Knitter’s. She lives in Jersey City, New Jersey.
