Select EchoSign Agreements Page Style

Version 9 of EchoSign for Salesforce allows you to choose between two page styles allowing you to
create, edit and view agreements. For more information about both pages’ user experience see Sending
an Agreement below.

The ‘EchoSign Agreement Advanced’ page

This page allows you to create an EchoSign Agreement on a single page – specify recipients, names the
agreement, select options, attach files and send. This page also gives you more flexibility in specifying
the number and type of recipients for each agreement. However, this page does not allow you to add
custom fields or customize the page layout.

To use this page instead of the advanced one, follow the instructions below:

 Go to Setup / Create / Objects

 Click on ‘Agreement’

 Click ‘Standard Buttons and Links’

 Click ‘Edit’ next to the ‘New’ button and set it to ‘No Override (use default)’
 Click ‘Edit’ next to the ‘Edit’ button and set it to ‘No Override (use default)’
 Click ‘Edit’ next to the ‘View’ button and set it to ‘No Override (use default)’

 At the end of the process, you should have the following setup:

The ‘EchoSign Agreement’ page

This page uses the Salesforce.com page layout to view and edit the agreement. Creating a new
agreement requires a few more clicks -- creating an agreement, saving it and then attaching files on a
separate screen. This page allows you to customize the page layout (adding and removing fields and
options) but does not provide the same flexibility in choosing the number and type of recipients as the
Advanced page.

To use this page instead of the advanced one, follow the instructions below:

 Go to Setup / Create / Objects

 Click on ‘Agreement’
 Click ‘Standard Buttons and Links’
 Click ‘Edit’ next to the ‘New’ button and set it to ‘Standard Salesforce.com Page’
 Click ‘Edit’ next to the ‘Edit’ button and set it to ‘Standard Salesforce.com Page’
 Click ‘Edit’ next to the ‘View’ button, select the ‘Visualforce Page’ and select ‘EchoSign
Agreement’ from the list

 At the end of the process, you should have the following setup:
