CEREMONIES

The Roma09 Opening Ceremony will be a great event due to remain in the
memories of Athletes, Teams, Officials, Partners and Spectators as the most
important and spectacular Opening Ceremony ever organized for the FINA
World Championships.

We have just launched the bid for the Organization of the Opening Ceremony.

We are considering two options:

Preliminary idea is on the Tiber, in the area of Castel Sant’Angelo (Close to
the Vatican), with the show on floating platforms and along the shore, and
with teams parade on boats. Although very spectacular, this options poses
some constraints in terms of both budget and feasibility
Stadio dei Marmi, in the proximity of the Foro Italico Swimming Complex.

The Closing Ceremony will be at the venues, at the Market Street.

The prices for the Ceremonies tickets will be in a range of 100+ euro.
