MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY: MCA/ PGDCA : 60% aggregate marks in Graduation.

- The minimum Eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude Test for students passing the qualifying examination from
Banasthali University will be 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- The minimum Eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude test for SC/ST applicants for all these courses is 40%
aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- Applicants who fail to appear in the Aptitude Test will not be considered under any circumstances.

Please note that there is negative marking. Each correct question has one mark, whereas a wrong question
carries (-1/4) marks.

Aptitude Test Syllabi and Sample Questions

Based on the performance in the aptitude test and the academic record of the qualifying examination the
selected candidates will be offered admission and shall be called on a specific date to complete admission
procedure. The candidate must report for admission on given date, failing which the admission will be
cancelled.

For the postgraduate programmes the Applicants MUST attach complete marksheet (s) upto the II year or final
year examination (if available ) failing which their application will be summarily rejected.

For the purpose of preparation of merit for the various PG courses of the Apaji Institute qualifying examination
marks shall be aggregate of marks of the first two years or, aggregate marks whichever is higher. The last
date for submission of marksheet of qualifying examination is 30 November, 2011.

Banasthali University reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student, if it is found that their original
documents were manipulated. Even if it is discovered that the student has hidden certain facts which would
have rendered her ineligible, or found to be ineligible as a result of revision of marks at a later stage her
admission shall be cancelled and she shall be separated from the University.

The following percentage credit points are awarded while preparing the final merit list :

2. (a) President Guide/Ranger 3


(b) ’C’ certificate in NCC/Banasthali Seva Dal 3
(c) Represented Regional Youth Festival 3
(d) Represented National Youth Festival 5

3. Passing Qualifying examination from Banasthali 5

4. Ex-students of Banasthali having studied full time course 5

5. Candidate whose mother or sister has studied or is studying 5


in Banasthali

6. Candidate whose guardian(s) has worked or is 5


working in Banasthali

Note: 1.If the credit point is awarded under category No. 1 - 4, total credit points will not be greater than 5%.
If in addition the credit points are also awarded under category Nos. 5-6, total credit points will not be
greater than 7%.

2.Old students who have passed the last examination from Banasthali University and have studied in
the University for a period of 5 years or less will be awarded 5% credit points and for every additional
year 1% credit.

3. Maximum credit points that may be awarded under all categories is 10%.

Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI Sponsored Admissions

A limited number of seats are available for Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI sponsored candidates. Admissions
against these seats are based directly upon the merit and the applicants do not have to appear in the Aptitude
Test. The minimum eligibility for Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI sponsored candidates is 40% marks in the

Test. The minimum eligibility for Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI sponsored candidates is 40% marks in the
qualifying examination.

The following documents are required for admission against Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI sponsored seats :

i) Original Certificate/Marksheet of the qualifying examination


ii) Attested photo copies of the passport and Visa of the applicant/guardian.
iii) Foreign Bank Account Number or NRI Account Number of the applicant/guardian.
iv) Declaration regarding Non-Resident Indian status of the applicant/guardian.

Once student is admitted in a programme as a Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI sponsored student then she will
remain in this category for the full duration of the programme. University decision regarding a Foreign Nationals
& NRI/NRI sponsored admission will be final and will have to be adhered to by the applicant.

Re-admission : If a student is separated from Banasthali University or Shri Shantabai Shiksha Kutir and in the
event the University decides to readmit her, admission fee of Rs. 1000/- shall be payable. The admission of a
student shall be automatically cancelled due to unauthorized absence of three days or more.

Absence without prior written permission from the Vidyapith shall be treated as unauthorized absence.

The Educational Fee prescribed for Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI sponsored applicant for the session
2011-2012 is :
Euros € 3,200 p.a.

Admission against Foreign Nationals & NRI/NRI sponsored seats is at the sole discretion of the Institute and the
Institute may deny admission to an applicant without assigning any reason whatsoever.
