CET Pvt Ltd is a private company formed by a group of professionals and Engineers
who have substantial knowledge and experience in the field of Telecommunication.
CET with a humble beginning in early nineties has emerged as one of the leading
telecommunication companies in Pakistan. It has successfully executed a number of
turn-key projects in telecommunication sector and emerged as a prime contractor
system integrators.

CETPVT Ltd was established in 1992. CET is Multi-dimensional Company. The

Diversified trading activities in Civil, electrical, Telecommunication
supplies are being looked after by a strong team of professional
managers with more then eleven years of Construction/ marketing
experience, supported by commercial Sales Engineers.
CET has worked with some reputable organization and has shown the indomitable
spirit to achieve the excellence like FWO, CDA, SCO, and PTCL. CET has got number
of heavy machinery in its fleet for executing the Construction work e.g. Dumpers,
Dozers, Trallies, Tractors, Excavators.

CET is also involved in sub-contracting jobs to establish various kinds of optical fibre,
LAN system for LAN/Datacom and Scada applications. CET is fully equipped with all
the technical skills and product range to offer any solution starting from designing,
supplying, installing, maintaining, testing and commissioning, any kind of optical fibre
network for Telecom and Datacom applications.

The company’s medium form plan is to provide quality services to telecommunication

operators at all levels. In the present era of competition and continuing technological
advancement in the field of telecommunication, CET has hired highly qualified
professionals to provide better and modern engineering services to its valuable
clients. CET has also its separate section which deals with OSP related jobs such as
supplying, laying, splicing and jointing of laid cable.

Realising the significance and rapid expansion of Fibre Optics in Pakistan, the
management of CET decided to establish a Training Wing with in the existing CET set
up to produce more and more professionals to meet the rising demands of engineers
in the field of Fibre Optics. The training wing was established in 2001 and CET
became the ace Fibre Optic training company in Pakistan.

This comprehensive training programme covers A - Z of Fibre Optic system, starting

from introduction to system design and modern digital communication. The Fibre
Optic Association of America duly approved the training course of this programme.

Having received tremendous response/interest from young professionals to join this

training programme, CET has recently established a new optical fibre-training branch
at Karachi, which is functioning in full swing.

CET is also involved in providing services and solutions for Local Area Networks and
Wide Area Networks. In addition to this CET is also actively involved in marketing of
networking equipment and cabling system for Planet and Nex1 Taiwan.
We also provide solutions for CATV and also deal in cables and accessories for CATV.

In addition to this CET is actively involved in marketing of Telecommunication

products and is the only company in Pakistan that stocks fibre optic products and
accessories for Telecom Applications.

CET also works as dealer/distributor for companies like Marconi (UK), Sagem
(France), Corning (Germany), Microtest (USA), AlCATEL (Australia), FibreNet
(Australia), Telstra (Australia), Fibre Instruments Sales (USA), COM10 (Australia),
Powec AS (Norway), Planet (Taiwan), NEX1 (Taiwan), YOFC (China), Centuryman

Trend Communication (UK) and is promoting their products successfully.

CET is registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and Ministry of Commerce
and also enlisted with several departments such as PTCL, SCO, NLC and NTC to meet
their almost every kind of requirement of miscellaneous Fibre Optic products and
system.

 • Mobilink CET has Shifted the Mobilink traffic from microwave
on optical fiber and microwae Link will be as standby between
Lahore (MSC) and PTCL site (DTE.)

• OFC LAN established for interdepartmental connectivity for

International Islamic University.
• Extension of Internet bandwidth from IBA I exchange P.T.C.L
Islamabad to Quaid-e-Azam University interdepartmental activity.

• Established WAN/LAN to remote departments of N.D.C.

• LAN connectivity of Karachi port trust around five hundred

Nodes.

interconnectivity of different departments alongwith the provision
