BACKGROUND

Historically, the HR department was viewed as administrative overhead. It is mainly focused to process payroll,
handled benefits administration, kept personal files and other records, managed the hiring process, and
provided other administrative services. These functions were viewed as administrative necessities, but not as
integral parts of the core business.

In Garment Industry HR is devoting more time on Problem Fixing, to set right the day to day problems, look
after welfare activities, attendance and pay roll etc. Today, many of these old administrative functions have
been automated and/or outsourced. The positive result of these changes is that HR professionals have the
opportunity to play a more strategic role in the business.

Every function in an organization wants to focus on revenue, profit growth, market share, new products, and
increasing capacity. Today’s Business leaders want HR Fraternity to contribute to the growth of business. To
achieve these objectives two important dimensions required are Strategic HR and HR Competencies of HR
Personnel.

OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE KEY ISSUES:


The objective of this intervention is for the HR- Executives and HR- Managers to equip them additional
knowledge, Skills to handle issues Viz; Talent acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Growth and Retention
for the team & organizational effectiveness.

training mode will leverage their past experience to enhance the competencies.

The critical aspect to the HR profession is dearth of young competent people to take up the new challenge.
Organizations are looking for bright candidates, who can add value to the organization and hold the torch of

There is woeful inadequacy, huge gap between what universities / institutes churn out students and what
Industry need. The Challenges to HR Professionals is to set up H R processes, Systems, frameworks and
methodologies that create an institutionalized foundation to deliver great results consistently.

Nuances of managing successful execution / implementation skills are learnt only through experience. Given
the volatilities of the industry today, companies find it hard to train the new entrants in all the areas
themselves.

Due to change occurring in every sphere of business, Indian Garment Industry is also exposed to totally new
set of demands and expectations of people. Clearly we see the shift that is occurring in the way HR is perceived
and is expected to function. Shifting workforce demographics, rapid changes in technology have resulted in a
shift in the way businesses operate, demanding customer and consequently the way HR functions.

It is a need and reality that every HR Executives and Managers have to develop HR competencies on a
continuous basis to deal the new business challenges.

In RML Training centre or in a mutually suitable venue.

PROFESSIONAL FEE :

The professional fee will be based on number of sessions / total hours and modules chosen. It will be per
participant basis. {Duration of each session is of 01.30 Hours and 6.00 hours of Training Delivery per day}
Estimated Hours to cover all the modules is 60- 90 hours (10 to 15 days).

Rs 600/ per day per participant towards Training Delivery only. It ranges from Rs 6000 to Rs 9000/ Per
participant for the entire programme depending on number of hours and days.

Lunch and snacks will be additional and at actual.

Programme can be conducted on Every Saturday and Sunday : 9- 30 AM and 5-00 PM OR

Programme can be conducted on working days : 2- 00 PM and 8-30 PM.
