Symptom: Dead/power LED off (no blinking code).

Cause: No primary AC voltage inputs due to open fuses caused by Q406 shorting out.

Remedy: Replace F401, F402, Q406 and add C426 in the P board.

Repair instruction procedure:

1) Replace Q406, F401 & F402.

Remarks: Clean silicon sheet to remove any foreign material before installing new Q406.

Silicon sheet Tighten screw

Torque 25~45Ncm

2) Add C426 @ PCB foil side.

Soldering points

Caution point: Should not bridge

A. Put film capacitor C426 on PCB foil side.

B. Solder pins of capacitor as shown in the photo below.

C. Put silicon adhesive sealant to both leads of C426 to fix as shown below.

Notes:

• Please purchase silicone adhesive sealant locally. Use silicone adhesive

sealant part # KE-40RTV (manufactured by Shin-Etsu) or RTV133
(manufactured by MG Chemicals).

• Please ensure to completely cover the entire leads with silicon adhesive
sealant.

• The height from PCB surface of C426 body must be < 4 mm and silicon
height must be < 5 mm.
