Continuation of Voice of Pieces Project, a nonsensical series of editions of "paper noise"

VIDEO
2010
A 45 minute videowork was created for the Home Away From Home exhibition at the
Singapore Discovery Centre. SB directed, shot and recorded sound for the 45 minute
piece which was completed within one week. Additionally a number of clips were
prepared for an interactive part of the exhibition. Editing was performed by David
East(Avid specialist, who has worked on projects for the BBC and Peter Jackson)

Series of performances with Amith Narayan, Mel Araneta, Bani Haykal, Wilson Goh and
others. 3how is developing into a text-based theatre/music piece. 3how perfoms in
unusual spaces, an exception being the 2010 LitUp Singapore Festival at LASALLE College
of the Arts.

2007-present
Book Merah is the name for Stephen Black's book projetcs and experimentations. Book
Merha probably produced the first Kindle ebook by a Singaporean writer. Th ebook was

Worked with noted artist Michael Lee to co-write biographical information about KS
Wong, a fictional Singaporean architect of the last century. The text provided context
for a number of architectural models created by the artist.The piece received popular

In addition to documentation for the Tiong Bahru book projects, SB has also completed
several portrait commissions for private individuals. Workis also being prepared for a
new exhibition. Finally, a print of Fukushima cherry blossoms was on sale at the
Unshakable Art Auction held to benefit Japan.
